TWO WANTED CRIMINALS FROM PUNJAB ARRESTED.

  • ACCUSED PUNJAB SINGH A P.O. WANTED IN A SENSATIONAL MURDER CASE AND ANOTHER CASE OF GRIEVIOUS HURT OF PS GARDIWALA DISTT. HOSHIARPUR, PUNJAB.
  • BOTH THE ACCUSED WERE ABSCONDING SINCE 2009.
  • OTHER ACCUSED HARPREET SINGH @ SABI WAS WANTED IN A CASE OF ATTEMPT TO MURDER & A RIOT CASE OF PS DASUYA, DISTT. HOSHIARPUR, PUNJAB.

INTRODUCTION: Crime Branch has arrested two notorious criminals namely Punjab Singh (30 yrs) s/o Boota Singh r/o Village Gardiwala, Vishwakarma Road, Near Vishwakarma Mandir, Distt. Hoshiarpur, Punjab & Harpreet Singh @ Sabi (23 yrs) s/o Pakhar Singh r/o Vill. Gondpur, PS Gardiwala Distt. Hoshiarpur, Punjab.  Accused Punjab Singh who was wanted in a sensational case of murder and another case of grievous hurt of PS Gardiwala Distt. Hoshiarpur, Punjab. He was absconding since 2009 and was declared proclaimed offender in both the cases and accused Harpreet Singh @ Sabi was wanted in a case of attempt to murder & riots case of PS Dasuya, Distt. Hoshiarpur, Punjab.

INFORMATION AND OPERATION: An information was received that accused Punjab Singh and Harpreet Singh who were wanted in separate cases of PS Gardiwala and PS Dasuya of Distt. Hoshiarpur, Punjab would be coming at  Indraprastha Park near Sarai Kale Khan bus depot, Delhi to meet someone. On this information a team led by ACP Sanjay Sehrawat, comprising of Insp. PC Yadav, SI Mandeep, HCs Dinesh Kumar, Dinesh Singh, Narender Singh, Vikal Singh, Ajay Kumar Cts. Naresh, Ravi, Vijender, Rahul, Deepak, Brijesh, Ravinder and Rajesh was constituted under the supervision of DCP Bhisam Singh and overall supervision of Addl.C.P. K.K. Vyas. On the basis of information, a trap was laid at the place of information and accused persons were apprehended.

INTERROGATION: During interrogation accused Punjab Singh disclosed that in 2009, he had a fight with one Billa r/o Village Sirale (Punjab) whom he attacked with a chopper. In this regard, a case FIR No.48/09 u/s 324/326 IPC was registered at PS Gardiwala, Distt Hoshiarpur, Punjab. He left his house since the incident. Hence he was declared proclaimed offender by the concerned court.
On sustained interrogation accused disclosed that he alongwith Sunil @ Leela Pehalwan had committed the murder of one businessman namely Rajender r/o Basi Kikrawala, Hoshiyarpur who was running a money changer and money lender business. As the deceased was harassing sister of accused Sunil @ Leela Pehalwan, a constable in Border Security Force. He alongwith Leela Pehalwan went to the village of deceased Rajender and shot him dead. After the incident he came to Delhi and Sunil @ Leela Pehalwan joined his unit. After police raid, Sunil @ Leela Pehalwan went absconding from his unit.

Accused Harpreet Singh @ Sabi disclosed that in 2014, he alongwith his friends attended a Khalsa College festival in Gardiwala. One local goon namely Jyoti Khurda alongwith his associates was there. They had some altercation. Thereafter, both the groups had frequent fights. During one such fight accused alongwith his associates attacked one Bhupinder Singh, an associate of Jyoti Khurda with a sword and knives. A case FIR No.307/2015 u/s 307/323/324/ 427/379/148/149 IPC was registered at PS Dasuya, Distt. Hoshiarpur, Punjab in this regard. He was absconding since the date of incident.

Sagar @ Punter a sharp shooter of Naveen Khati Gang arrested

Two sophisticated pistols alongwith 9 cartridges recovered. A reward of Rs 50,000/- was declared by Delhi Police for his arrest. A team of Special Cell, Northern Range, led by Insp. Sanjay Nagpal, Inspr. Prabhat Kumar & Insp. Pankaj Kumar under the supervision of Shri Pankaj Sood, ACP has arrested sharp shooter of notorious and desperate gangster Naveen @ Khati namely  Sagar @ Punter, alongwith his associate Ravi @ Cheeru. Two pistols alongwith 9 cartridges were recovered from their possession.  A Bullet Motor-Cycle used by gangster has also been seized. A reward of Rs 50,000/- was declared by Delhi Police for his arrest. There is a long history of gang war in Najafgarh and adjoining areas.
