Five Notorious & hard core criminals arrested after encounter

·        Three weapons including two pistols, one country made weapon and one knife recovered·        Four .315 live rounds and six 7.65mm live rounds recovered.·        The accused persons were wanted in many heinous cases including attempt to murder, robbery and dacoity.


Secret information was received at PS Sultanpuri that a group of gangsters would be gathering at Sector-24 Rohini Delhi to commit a dacoity with a Property Dealer as large cash transaction was going to take place.
Based on the information three teams were constituted under the supervision of ACP Sultan Puri, Darade Sharad Bhaskar (IPS) and under the leadership of SHO/Sultan Puri, Inspr Ashok Kumar comprising SI Dinesh Dahiya, SI Vikas, SI Parmod, SI Amit, PSI Punit, ASI Rishi Kesh No-295/OD, HC Balwant No. 647/OD, HC  Satyawan No.2114/OD, Ct Ashok No.2073/OD, Ct Ravinder No. 2750/OD, Ct Ravi Tailor No. 2975/OD, Ct Prateek No. 1022/OD, Ct Munesh No. 3436/OD, Ct Arvind No. 2977/OD, Ct Pradeep No.3125/OD, Ct Rajesh No.2199/OD and Ct Karampal. 
Acting on the tip off, the teams immediately swung into action and started searching for the target vehicle.  They found one white Swift car (which was the target vehicle) and also noticed a black Pulsar motorcycle leading the car in a suspicious manner. After moving for some distance, the car halted on main Deep Vihar road of Sec-24 Rohini and the motorcycle went and stopped on the opposite carriageway.  One team proceeded towards the accused, who was on M/Cycle in front of ICICI bank in Sec-24 Rohini, and two cars of raiding party proceeded towards the Swift car of the accused persons.  The Swift car was sandwiched between two vehicles of the raiding police team.  On realising that they had been cornered, they rammed into the vehicles in an attempt to escape. To prevent their escape a bullet was fired into the front tire of the Swift car, which got punctured.  The accused persons sitting in Swift car then opened fire on the police from inside the car and one bullet hit Ct Pradeep.  The police party also then opened fire in self defence. The bullet fired by the police team first hit one accused and grazed his head and then crossed the cheeks of the other accused person.  The accused persons were then overpowered.
After searching the accused persons and car, two pistols and live rounds of 7.65mm ammunition, one desi katta with four live rounds of .315 ammunition and one knife was recovered from them.

Sagar @ Punter a sharp shooter of Naveen Khati Gang arrested

Two sophisticated pistols alongwith 9 cartridges recovered. A reward of Rs 50,000/- was declared by Delhi Police for his arrest. A team of Special Cell, Northern Range, led by Insp. Sanjay Nagpal, Inspr. Prabhat Kumar & Insp. Pankaj Kumar under the supervision of Shri Pankaj Sood, ACP has arrested sharp shooter of notorious and desperate gangster Naveen @ Khati namely  Sagar @ Punter, alongwith his associate Ravi @ Cheeru. Two pistols alongwith 9 cartridges were recovered from their possession.  A Bullet Motor-Cycle used by gangster has also been seized.
