SENSATIONAL DACOITY CASE WORKED OUT WITHIN FOUR DAYS WITH THE ARREST OF ONE ACCUSED

  • ONE GOLD KADA, ONE PLATINUM KADA, ONE GOLD CHAIN WITH LOCKET, ONE ORANGE COLOR HAIR RAFFLE RECOVERED FROM HIS POSSESSION.
        Crime Branch has worked out a sensational dacoity case of PS Safdarjung Enclave and accused person Amarjit @ Amar S/o Attar Singh R/o D-278, Tagore Garden, Delhi has been arrested. Robbed items one gold kada, one platinum kada, one gold chain with locket, one orange color hair raffle have been recovered from his possession.
INCIDENT: - On 30.07.2016, an incident of robbery took place at Green Park in the area of PS Safdarjung Enclave, Delhi. The complainant Smt Niyati Nagpal stated that she was present at home with her children and her maid Kavita and servant Ranjan were also present there. In the afternoon, four unknown persons with deadly weapons in their hands, entered the house and asked for the keys of locker. They tied up their hands and closed their mouth with the help of adhesive tape and ran away with diamond and gold jewellery, some cash and US dollars. In this regard, a case vide FIR No.515/16 u/s 394/397/34 IPC was registered at PS Safdarjung Enclave, New Delhi. During the investigation of the case, it was revealed that the servant Ranjan had hatched a conspiracy for this incident of dacoity.
TEAM, INFORMATION & OPERATION: - Keeping in view the sensitivity of the case, a dedicated team of SER Crime Branch led by ACP Ishwar Singh comprising of Inspr. Surender Singh Sandhu, SI Rajeev Malik, HCs Resham Singh, Deep Chand, Mittar Singh, Harikishan, Cts Rajinder, Manjinder, Sandeep and Manish was constituted under the supervision of DCP Bhisham Singh to work out this dacoity case. Electronic as well as manual sources were deployed.

        On 03.08.2016, a specific input was received that one person involved in this crime would come at Tagore Garden T point near Gurudwara, Delhi to meet his accomplice. Accordingly, a trap was laid and one person Amarjit @ Amar S/o Attar Singh R/o D-278, Tagore Garden, Delhi was apprehended. Robbed items one gold kada, one platinum kada, one gold chain with locket, one orange color hair raffle have been recovered from his possession.

Two sophisticated pistols alongwith 9 cartridges recovered. A reward of Rs 50,000/- was declared by Delhi Police for his arrest. A team of Special Cell, Northern Range, led by Insp. Sanjay Nagpal, Inspr. Prabhat Kumar & Insp. Pankaj Kumar under the supervision of Shri Pankaj Sood, ACP has arrested sharp shooter of notorious and desperate gangster Naveen @ Khati namely  Sagar @ Punter, alongwith his associate Ravi @ Cheeru. Two pistols alongwith 9 cartridges were recovered from their possession.  A Bullet Motor-Cycle used by gangster has also been seized.
