ASSOCIATE OF NEETU DABODHIA/RISHI SURAKHPURIYA GANG ARRESTED

  • INVOLVED IN A CASE OF ATTEMPT TO MURDER OF PS  RAJOURI GARDEN, DELHI AND WAS EVADING COURT PROCEEDINGS.
  • WAS DECLARED PROCLAIMED OFFENDER.
  • PREVIOUSLY INVOLVED IN 07 CRIMINAL CASES.
Crime Branch has arrested a notorious criminal Nitin Dutta @ Naveen @ Rahul (37 yrs) s/o Ashok Dutta r/o BE-57, Hari Nagar, New Delhi. Accused was wanted and arrested in a case of attempt to murder of PS Rajouri Garden, Delhi and was evading Court proceedings after he was released on bail by the Court. He was declared proclaimed offender in this case by the concerned Court. He was previously involved in 07 criminal cases of PS Hari Nagar, Delhi.
INCIDENT: On 21.01.2011, one businessman, who has a business of sale/purchase of cars in Ashok Nagar and Tilak Nagar, Delhi, and his friends Dharampal and Mahesh Bajaj were almost beaten to death by Sandeep Gaba and his associates. Accused had also fired in air to threaten the complainant. A case FIR No.23/11 u/s 323/307/308/34 IPC & 25/27 Arms Act was registered at PS Rajouri Garden in this regard.
INFORMATION AND OPERATION:- On 27.08.16, an information was received that one Nitin Dutta @ Naveen @ Rahul, who was declared proclaimed offender in a case of attempt to murder of PS Rajouri Garden, Delhi, would come near Old Police Station, Delhi Cantt., Delhi to visit someone. On this information, a team led by ACP Sanjay Sehrawat and comprising of Inspr. Narender Singh Chahar, SI Mandeep, HCs Dinesh Kumar, Dinesh Singh, Vikal Singh, Ajay Kumar, Cts. Rajesh, Brijesh, Deepak, Naresh, Ravi, Vijender and Ravinder was constituted under the supervision of DCP Bhisham Singh and  under overall guidance of Addl.CP K.K. Vyas. On the basis of the information, a trap was laid near Old Police Station, Delhi Cantt., Delhi and accused was apprehended.
INTERROGATION: - During interrogation, accused Nitin Dutta @ Naveen @ Rahul disclosed that he had passed his graduation from Delhi University. After completion of his graduation, he came in contact with criminals like Sandeep Gaba, Omender etc, who belong to Neetu Dabodhia & Rishi Surakhpuriya gang. In 2002, he was arrested in a case of assault. After that, he was arrested in a case of dacoity of PS Naraina and was convicted for 7 years. After coming out of jail, he came into contact of dreaded gangster namely Rishi Surakhpuriya and started extorting money from businessmen and property dealers. Then in 2011, he alongwith Rishi Surakhpuriya, Sandeep Gaba and other associates called the complainant Manmohan Singh at Sandeep Gaba’s shop for a business deal. When Manmohan Singh and his two friends reached there, Sandeep Gaba forced the complainant to make him partner in his business. When the complainant refused for the same, the accused persons severely had beaten the complainant and his friends and also shot in the air to threaten the complainant. After that, he was arrested in the case and later on evaded the court proceedings after released on bail. He was declared proclaimed offender by the Court in 2015.

Two sophisticated pistols alongwith 9 cartridges recovered. A reward of Rs 50,000/- was declared by Delhi Police for his arrest. A team of Special Cell, Northern Range, led by Insp. Sanjay Nagpal, Inspr. Prabhat Kumar & Insp. Pankaj Kumar under the supervision of Shri Pankaj Sood, ACP has arrested sharp shooter of notorious and desperate gangster Naveen @ Khati namely  Sagar @ Punter, alongwith his associate Ravi @ Cheeru. Two pistols alongwith 9 cartridges were recovered from their possession.  A Bullet Motor-Cycle used by gangster has also been seized. A reward of Rs 50,000/- was declared by Delhi Police for his arrest. There is a long history of gang war in Najafgarh and adjoining areas. Naveen @ Khati gang is a desperate gang having rivalry with Manjeet Mahal/ Ravinder @ Bholu gang. They are splinter group of Anoop/Balraj gang which had rivalry with Krishan Pehlwan gang.
