TWO BOOT-LEGGERS WITH 1764 QTRS OF ILLICIT LIQUOR ARRESTED

In 02 different incidents, the teams of PS Swaroop Nagar and PS Mukherjee Nagar have arrested 02 persons with 1764 Qtrs of illicit liquor
BRIEF FACTS-1
In the first incident, on 25.08.2016, Const. Abhishekh of PS Swaroop Nagar was performing patrolling duty in the area of his beat.  While he was near Darshan Vihar Bus stand, he spotted on person carrying two bags.  On suspicion, he stopped the person and during checking, he found that the bag contained 150 quarters of illicit liquor “Asli Santra Masaledar (90) & Dabang Santra (60)” for sale in Haryana.  The identity of the person was revealed as Bunty S/o Sh. Shyokaran r/o H. No. 216, Gali No. 10. Prem Nagar, Nathupura, Delhi.  A case FIR No. 348/2016 dated 25.08.2016 U/sec. 33/38 Delhi Excise Act was registered at PS Swaroop Nagar against him and he was arrested in this case.  The accused was thoroughly interrogated.  During interrogation, he revealed that he has some more quantity of illicit liquor stored in a ruined house nearby.  Thereafter, 12 boxes containing 576 Qtrs of illicit liquor “Asli Santra Mashaledar & Dabang Santra” for sale in Haryana were further recovered on the instance of the accused.  Further investigation of the case is in progress to identify the source of supply of the illicit liquor.
PROFILE AND MODUS OPERANDI:-
Bunty (20 years) S/o Sh. Shyokaran r/o Gali No. 10. Prem Nagar, Nathupura, Delhi, a native of District Jaipur (Rajasthan), is illiterate and belongs to a poor family.  He came to Delhi in search of job but fell in the company with bad elements and started bringing illicit liquor from Haryana and supplied in Delhi for sale in black market to gain higher profit. His father has expired and his mother lives in Rajasthan.

BRIEF FACTS-2, In the second incident, on 26.08.2016, Const. Pardeep Kumar of PS Mukherjee Nagar was performing night-patrolling duty in the area of his beat.  While he was near Outram Line Jhuggies, he noticed one person with a few plastic gunny bags and a couple of boxes of liquor.  On suspicion, he approached the person and during checking, he found that there were 05 bags each containing 150 quarters of Asli Santra Masaledar and 6 boxes each containing 48 quarters of Impact Grain Whiskey for sale in Haryana.  The identity of the person was revealed as Vijender Singh@Birjoo R/O Jhuggi No.410, Outram Lane, Delhi. A case FIR No. 797/2016 dated 26.08.2016 U/sec. 33/38 Delhi Excise Act was registered at PS Mukherjee Nagar against Vijender Singh@Birjoo who was arrested in this case.  Further investigation of the case is in progress to identify the source of supply of the illicit liquor.

Sagar @ Punter a sharp shooter of Naveen Khati Gang arrested

Two sophisticated pistols alongwith 9 cartridges recovered. A reward of Rs 50,000/- was declared by Delhi Police for his arrest. A team of Special Cell, Northern Range, led by Insp. Sanjay Nagpal, Inspr. Prabhat Kumar & Insp. Pankaj Kumar under the supervision of Shri Pankaj Sood, ACP has arrested sharp shooter of notorious and desperate gangster Naveen @ Khati namely  Sagar @ Punter, alongwith his associate Ravi @ Cheeru. Two pistols alongwith 9 cartridges were recovered from their possession.  A Bullet Motor-Cycle used by gangster has also been seized. A reward of Rs 50,000/- was declared by Delhi Police for his arrest. There is a long history of gang war in Najafgarh and adjoining areas.
