DREADED CRIMINAL SUNNY AND TAUFIQ ARRESTED AFTER A BRIEF SHOOTOUT AT BHATI MINES AREA.

  • UNFORTUNATELY, KIDNAPPING OF INNOCENT PERSONS FOR RANSOM HAS BECOME COMMON IN MEWAT AREA.
  • ACCUSED WANTED IN ROBBERY AND OTHER CASES OF MEWAT.
  • REWARD OF RS.50,000/- WAS DECLARED ON THEIR ARREST.
  • RECOVERY OF TWO PISTOLS, CARTRIDGES AND ONE MOTORCYCLE.
Crime Branch has arrested two dreaded criminals namely Taufiq @ Kala (24 yrs) s/o Saeed r/o Village: Daulatpur, PS Govardhan, Distt. Mathura, UP and Sunny (23 yrs) s/o Karan Dev r/o Village: Karmuka Bas, PS Kama, District Bharatpur, Rajasthan, who were wanted in case FIR No.20/16 dated 17/02/2016 u/s 364A/34 IPC PS Crime Branch Delhi, in which they had kidnapped a resident from Bhuj, after he was called in Delhi on the allurement of providing him a car at very low price.
INCIDENT: - Sh. Valji Bhai s/o Govind Bhai r/o Bhajau, Distt. Bhuj, Gujarat reached Delhi after receiving calls on his mobile from some unknown persons, who told him that they would arrange a car for him at a very low price. On finding it a lucrative offer, he reached at Delhi Railway Station on 21/12/2015, where he met one person, who took him to Palwal on the pretext of showing him car. On reaching Palwal, he noticed that 5/6 persons were already present there on two bikes and on sensing danger, he refused to go further. He was forcefully taken to a secluded place. After that, they started beating him and demanded a ransom of Rs. 5 lac from his son by making calls to him. The accused also took away Rs.20,000/- and mobile phone, which he was carrying. The next day one person came there and alerted them that Delhi Police had raided in that area. After hearing this, they ran away from there and complainant reached his home by train. Thereafter, on his complaint, the aforesaid case was registered.  
INFORMATION, TEAM  AND  OPERATION: - Sources were deployed to collect information regarding accused involved in aforesaid case. A specific information was received by Ct. Salimuddin and Ct. Ravinder Khokhar on 23/8/16 with regard to movement of the aforesaid accused that they would come from Gurgaon to Bhati Mines area to meet their associates on a motor cycle.

A team of South Eastern Range led by ACP Ishwar Singh, comprising of Inspr. Pankaj Singh, SIs Vishal Chaudhary, Aas Mohd, ASIs Shiv Kumar, Dharmender, Hashim Khan, HCs Jagpal, Kusum Pal, Prithvi, Gulbir, Jai Parkash Cts Rohit Solanki, Sanjeev, Ravinder Khokhar, Ravinder Malik, Surender and Anil was constituted under supervision of DCP Bhisham Singh and overall guidance of Addl.CP K.K. Vyas to nab them. The team immediately swung into action and a trap was laid. When the accused persons came on a motorcycle, the police party signaled them to stop, but they tried to run away. They both whipped out pistols and Sunny fired two shots at the police party. Police party returned the fire and managed to overpower both of them. 2 pistols and five cartridges were seized from them. Accordingly, a case vide FIR No. 145/16 dated 23/08/16 U/S 186/353/307 IPC, 25/27/54/59 Arms Act PS Crime Branch Delhi was registered and they were arrested in this case.

Two sophisticated pistols alongwith 9 cartridges recovered. A reward of Rs 50,000/- was declared by Delhi Police for his arrest. A team of Special Cell, Northern Range, led by Insp. Sanjay Nagpal, Inspr. Prabhat Kumar & Insp. Pankaj Kumar under the supervision of Shri Pankaj Sood, ACP has arrested sharp shooter of notorious and desperate gangster Naveen @ Khati namely  Sagar @ Punter, alongwith his associate Ravi @ Cheeru. Two pistols alongwith 9 cartridges were recovered from their possession.  A Bullet Motor-Cycle used by gangster has also been seized.
