One Notorious Burglar Arrested by PS Dwarka South/SWD


With the arrest of following accused, staff of PS Dwarka South, South West District has worked out 34 cases of night burglaries:-
  • Rakesh Kumar s/o Gajadhar r/o RZ-7, Deep Enclave, Sunday Bazaar, Vikas Nagar, New Delhi, aged-38 years.
GIST OF CASE
On 02/08/16, some residents of Sidhartha Kunj Apptt., Sec-7, Dwarka apprehended a person namely Rakesh Kumar s/o Gajadhar r/o RZ-7, Deep Enclave, Sunday Bazaar, Vikas Nagar, New Delhi while he was trying to escape after committing burglary in flats. The case was registered and accused was interrogated at length. He disclosed the involvements in 34 cases of burglaries in the area of Dwarka. A huge quantity of stolen gold jewelry, silver jewelry/coins/utensils, wrist watches and cameras were recovered at his instance.

RECOVERY
  • Gold articles- Diamond Rings, Bangles, Ear tops, Chains, Lockets, Rings, Nose pins, coins.
  • Silver articles- Pajebs, chutkies, coins, utensils, ginnies.
  • 25 wrist watches (Indian & imported)
  • One LED.
  • 3 Cameras.
  • Cash of Rs.11,000/- and coins of Rs.5500/-.
TEAM MEMBERS : A team comprising of SI Rampratap, SI Mukesh Kumar, SI Sohanveer, HC Shammi kapoor, HC Bhim Singh, CT. Pankaj, CT. Dinesh Kumar, Ct. Karambir, Ct. Sonpal & W/Ct. Poonam was constituted lead by SHO/Dwarka South under overall supervision of ACP/Dwarka, Sh. Shri Kishan Meena.
MODUS OPERANDI :The accused used to break the locks of closed flats in societies/apartments by iron rod in the night hours and used to steal gold/silver jewelries & cash. Further investigation is in progress and efforts are being made to recover more case properties & to arrest the co-accused persons and also to ascertain their involvements in other cases.

Sagar @ Punter a sharp shooter of Naveen Khati Gang arrested

Two sophisticated pistols alongwith 9 cartridges recovered. A reward of Rs 50,000/- was declared by Delhi Police for his arrest. A team of Special Cell, Northern Range, led by Insp. Sanjay Nagpal, Inspr. Prabhat Kumar & Insp. Pankaj Kumar under the supervision of Shri Pankaj Sood, ACP has arrested sharp shooter of notorious and desperate gangster Naveen @ Khati namely  Sagar @ Punter, alongwith his associate Ravi @ Cheeru. Two pistols alongwith 9 cartridges were recovered from their possession.  A Bullet Motor-Cycle used by gangster has also been seized. A reward of Rs 50,000/- was declared by Delhi Police for his arrest. There is a long history of gang war in Najafgarh and adjoining areas. Naveen @ Khati gang is a desperate gang having rivalry with Manjeet Mahal/ Ravinder @ Bholu gang. They are splinter group of Anoop/Balraj gang which had rivalry with Krishan Pehlwan gang. HE ALLEGEDELY OPERATED INSIDE THE JAIL CARRYING REWARD OF Rs. 20,000/- District Anti Robbery Cell, NWD has nabbed a desperate extortionist namely Harsimran @ Badal @ Simran s/o Harvinder Singh r/o BK-1/103-A, East Shalimar Bagh, Delhi, who is gang leader of Harsimran @ Badal Gang and carrying reward of Rs. 20000/-. He is a dreaded criminal of PS Shalimar Bagh and is involved in total 15 cases including two murders at PS Burari & Mandir Marg.
