SENSATIONAL & BRUTAL DOUBLE- MURDER CASE CRACKED WITHIN 24 HOURS

Both accused, involved  in the horrific double murder case, arrested from Haryana.Relationship of deceased was not palatable to relative murderer.

The sleuths of Police Station Ranhola & Special Staff/West District have arrested two persons namely Amit  Kumar @ Mita @ Doctor and Sumit Sharma and solved  the sensational and clueless double murder case of Smt. Sunita and Rajesh Kumar within 24 hours.

  1. Amit Kumar @ Mita @ Doctor  S/o Rambhaj R/o H.No- 11/53, Purniya Pana, Near Post Office, Vill.- Bichpari, PS-Sadar Guhana, Distt.- Sonipat, Hry. Age-20 years.
  1. Sumit Sharma S/o Satyabir Sharma R/o Vill-Bichpari, Brahman Pana, PS-Sadar Guhana, Distt.-Sonipat, Hry. Age-19 Years.

INFORMATION & ARREST
On 6/8/16  at around 7:30 AM, information was received at PS Ranhola regarding one person was lying injured at  the roof of a house at Gali No-6, Vikash Nagar, New Delhi. On reaching the spot, i.e. H.No-1, Gali No-7, Vikash Nagar, New Delhi, it was found that one male dead body with crushed head of aged approx. 40 years (later identified as Rajesh Kumar)   was lying on the roof of the house and one female dead body also with crushed head and throat’ cutting  was also lying on the bed in the house. On enquiry, the above said dead bodies were got identified as Smt. Sunita W/o Late Sh. Ram Kumar R/o H.No-1, Gali No-7, S-Block, Near Vikash Valley Public School, Vikash Nagar, New Delhi and Rajesh Kumar S/o Sh. Zile Singh R/o Vill- Humayupur,  Distt. Rohtak, Haryana.
    Keeping in view the sensitivity of the brutal incident, a team under the leadership of Sh. Anand Sagar, ACP/ Nangloi, comprising of Inspector Subhash Malik-SHO/PS-Ranhola & Inspr. S.S. Rathi, Inspector-Special Staff/ West Distt., SI Charan Singh, ASI Bhuvnesh Kumar,  SI Manohar Lal, SI Braham Prakash, PSI Amit Kumar, HC Sanjay No-89/W, HC Parminder, HC Narender, Ct. Vikrant, Ct. Anil Kumar, Ct- Virender, Ct. Naresh Kumar, Ct Pravin and Ct Rajiv was formed to crack the sensational double murder case and to speedily apprehend the criminals involved in it.
     The team so formed worked relentlessly, activated their secret informers and came to know that the deceased Smt. Sunita was having disturbed relationship with her younger son-in-law (Daamad) Kaptan @ Lala and his brother Amit Kumar @ Mita.   Inquiry revealed that Amit Kumar came to Delhi on the fateful night.
               On the secret information, the accused Amit Kumar @ Mita @ Doctor along with his associate Sumit Sharma were apprehended from Haryana.  Initially, they tried to mislead the investigators by cooking up stories, but they broke down during constant questioning and admitted to their involvement in the double murder.
INTERROGATION
              On sustained interrogation, the accused Amit Kumar @ Mita @ Doctor disclosed that his brother’s  mother-in-law was addicted to alcohol and also had illicit relations with deceased  Rajesh Kumar and few other persons. Hence, they felt insulted due to this. She also had made a police complaint against him. The illicit relations came to notice to the relatives and they always talked about the illicit relations of Smt. Sunita. He asked Smt. Sunita to mend her lifestyle & relationship,  but all in vain.
             He said his family was often taunted by relatives due to Sunita’s lifestyle and he used to feel embarrassed. He further disclosed that she was not sending her daughter Mrs. Jyoti with his elder brother Kaptan Singh and also threatened them that she will get registered a criminal case against him and other family members. He further disclosed that he alongwith his friend Sumit Sharma hatched a conspiracy to eliminate her.

    On the fateful intervening night of 5-6/8/16 at about 1.45 AM, he alongwith Sumit Kumar reached at Vikash Nagar. He called Smt. Sunita from outside the house and asked her to open the main gate of the house. Smt. Sunita opened the gate and they entered the house. When they reached at the roof of the house they found that Smt. Sunita was consuming liquor with Rajesh Kumar. He objected to it and had a heated argument between them. Subsequently, accused Amit hit Mr. Rajesh with a Hammer (Hathora) on his head.  Rajesh collapsed. Smt. Sunita tried to escape and ran towards room but they overpowered her and hit her also with the hammer on her head. She became unconscious and fell down on the bed in the room. Thereafter, Sumit cut her throat with the kitchen knife and Amit hit her several times with the hammer (Hathora). Thereafter, they took their mobile phones & purse containing cash rupees of the deceased and ran away from the spot. After extensive investigation and massive raids, finally they were apprehended from Distt. Sonipat, Haryana.
