AUTO-LIFTERS GANG BUSTED BY THE POLICE OF NORTH EAST DISTRICT

NOTORIOUS AUTO-LIFTERS ARRESTED BY THE POLICE OF 
NORTH EAST DISTRICT
With the arrest of accused Nadeem s/o Munna Khan r/o O-360, Sunder Nagri, Nand Nagri, Delhi aged 22 years and Haroon s/o Feruddin r/o J291, Sunder Nagari, Nand Nagri, Delhi, aged 35, the police staff of AATS, North-East District has solved at least two auto-theft cases and recovered five stolen cars.
INCIDENT : There had been increase in the incidents of motor vehicle thefts recently. DCP/North-East District and the undersigned launched a special drive to curb this menace. As part of the drive the Police Staff of AATS, North-East Distt successfully developed intelligence about a gang involved in theft of cars and disposal of stolen property in the area of North-east Distt & neighborhood. On 05.08.16, the staff received inputs from secret informer that an auto-lifter would bring a stolen car for disposal at Bus Stop near Seema Puri Depot. A trap was laid and the auto-lifter, later identified as Nadeem s/o Munna Khan, who came in a Wagon R car was apprehended. He was asked about the documents of the car but he could not produce any. Enquiries were conducted from the data base and it was found that the WagonR car, he was travelling in, was stolen from the area of PS M.S.Park. He was arrested under 41.1 CrPC. On sustained interrogation he revealed that he had committed theft of the car from the area of PS M.S.Park and had brought it for disposal to his associate Haroon who owns a denting-painting workshop. He also revealed that he had stolen many cars earlier and had given these to Haroon for disposal. He led the team to the workshop of Haroon in Khassi Colony in Bhopura. Many cars were found inside the workshop. Another WagonR car was found there which had been stolen from the area of PS Shakar Pur. On minute checking three more cars were found suspected to be stolen. These cars were seized and their details are being ascertained.
TEAM : A team consisting of SI Satish Chand No. 3957/D, ASI Tara Chand No. 2224/NE, ASI Azad Singh No. 2273/NE, HC Satish Rana No. 593/NE, HC Yogender Singh No. 83/NE, Ct. Dharamender Singh No. 956/NE, Ct. Sachin 1103/NE and Ct. Deepak No. 1651/NE conducted raid under the leadership of Insp. Rajender Dubey and under the supervision of Sh. Sanjay Singh, ACP/Special Staff.
PROFILE OF THE ACCUSED
1. Nadeem s/o Munna Khan r/o O-360, Sunder Nagri, Nand Nagri, Delhi aged 22 years. He studied upto 5th class and is unmarried. He deals in scraps, particularly old unroadworthy vehicles. But he steals cars.

2. Haroon s/o Feruddin r/o J291, Sunder Nagari, Nand Nagri, Delhi, aged 35 years. He turned out to be a receiver of stolen property. He is married and studied upto 7th class. He owns a denting-painting workshop and runs it as a front office whereas he deals in stolen cars.

Sagar @ Punter a sharp shooter of Naveen Khati Gang arrested

Two sophisticated pistols alongwith 9 cartridges recovered. A reward of Rs 50,000/- was declared by Delhi Police for his arrest. A team of Special Cell, Northern Range, led by Insp. Sanjay Nagpal, Inspr. Prabhat Kumar & Insp. Pankaj Kumar under the supervision of Shri Pankaj Sood, ACP has arrested sharp shooter of notorious and desperate gangster Naveen @ Khati namely  Sagar @ Punter, alongwith his associate Ravi @ Cheeru. Two pistols alongwith 9 cartridges were recovered from their possession.  A Bullet Motor-Cycle used by gangster has also been seized. A reward of Rs 50,000/- was declared by Delhi Police for his arrest. There is a long history of gang war in Najafgarh and adjoining areas.
