KIDNAPPED GIRL RECOVERED AFTER MORE THAN 6 YEARS BY STAFF OF P.S. CHHAWALA, SOUTH-WEST DISTRICT, NEW DELHI

           
The staff of P.S Chhawla, SWD has recovered a girl (name withheld) who went to purchase ice cream on 18.02.2010 at 12 noon but did not returned back to her house. Accordingly her parents got registered a case of kidnapping on 21.02.2010 U/s 363 IPC at P.S. Chhawla.

THE INCIDENTS:  On 21.02.2010, complainant reported that his daughter (name withheld) went to purchase ice cream on 18.02.2010 at 12 noon at nearby market but did not return back. He made his best efforts to trace her but when found no clue, came to Police Station and informed the police officials. Accordingly a case of kidnapping vide FIR No. 25/10, u/s 363 IPC was registered at P.S. Chhawla and the investigation was taken up. Despite best efforts, the girl could not be traced.      
INVESTIGATION, OPERATION & TEAM: As per the direction of Senior Officers, an exercise was undertaken to trace the untraced persons and a team of PS Chhawla under the supervision of Sh. Rajender Bhatia ACP/NG and under the leadership of Inspr. Anil Kumar Chauhan, SHO/Chhawla comprising of W/ASI Gayatri, HC Krishan, 179/SW, Ct Vijendra, No. 1953/Sw, W/Ct Sunita No. 2262/SW was constituted and on 02.08.2016, the girl was recovered from a village in Haryana. She was produced before the Ld. Court and her statement was got recorded U/S 164 Cr.P.C. who stated that she solemnized marriage without the consent of her parent as they were against the said relationship.

Sagar @ Punter a sharp shooter of Naveen Khati Gang arrested

Two sophisticated pistols alongwith 9 cartridges recovered. A reward of Rs 50,000/- was declared by Delhi Police for his arrest. A team of Special Cell, Northern Range, led by Insp. Sanjay Nagpal, Inspr. Prabhat Kumar & Insp.
