INTER-STATE ILLEGAL GUN TRADING RACKET BUSTED

19 SOPHISTICATED WEAPONS& 20 LIVE CARTRIDGES RECOVERED.

A team of Special Cell, led by Inspr.Tilak Chand Bisht& Insp. Rajesh Sehrawat under the supervision of ShAkhileshwarSwroop Yadav, ACP has apprehended a notorious dealer of illegal arms namely AsadAli @ Pahalwan s/o Sirajuddin (Aged 27 Years) r/o Village Gagsona, PS Falawda, Distt. Meerut, UP on 04/08/2016. From his possession, 10 country made pistols of .315 bore, 9 long barrels country made gun of 12 bore (Muskat) and 20 cartridges of .315 bore have been recovered.




OPERATION : An in-house study into the growing use of sophisticated firearms in robberies, extortions and other heinous crimes in Delhi and NCR over the last few years revealed that in most of the cases illicit weapons manufactured in other parts of country like Bihar, MP and Western UP are being smuggled into Delhi NCR. Accordingly, a team of Special Cell led by Inspr. Tilak Chand Bisht& Insp. Rajesh Sehrawat was deputed to curb this menace in Delhi NCR. Once entrusted with task, this team collected data pertaining to these gangs operating in Delhi and NCR. The team collected vast data about the Modus Operandi, and area of operation of many gangs. The team prepared road plan of their movements in rural belts and synchronized the same with technical details. This team worked diligently and relentlessly by deploying informers in and around Delhi, Western UP, Bihar and Madhya Pradesh.
In February’2016 this team arrested one notorious arms supplier namely Savinder Kumar @ Savi r/o PartaPur, Meerut, UP and recovered 50 sophisticated pistols. After that this team continued theirefforts to unearth other group of criminals involved in illegal arms supply racket.
The sustained and sincere efforts put in by the team, eventually bore fruits when the team was able to extract information about some more suppliers and receivers of these illegal weapons.
A team consisting of Inspr.Tilak Chand Bisht, Insp. Rajesh Sehrawat, SI Anuj Kumar, SI Praveen Kumar, SI Gautam Malik, HC Rambir, HC Ajay, Ct. Bakar Raza, Ct. Ajay Singh, Ct. Abhishek, Ct. Arjun, Ct. Deepak Rathi, Ct. Surender,  Ct. Yashpal and Ct. Brijpal was formed to apprehend the said criminal.
On 04/08/16, specificsecret information was receivedthat one AsadAli @ Pahalwan would come near NSITDwarka Delhifor supply of illegal arms to some contact persons of gangsters of Najafgarh area. Accordingly, a trap was laid and at about 7.20 pm saidAsadAli @ Pahalwanreached near NSIT by a TSR and get down on service road. He was carrying two bags with him and waiting for someone. He was apprehended by the staff when he was about to leave the place.  His both bag were searched. From his bags 10 country made pistols of .315 bore, 9 long barrels country made gun of 12 bore (Muskat) and 20 cartridges of .315 bore were recovered. A Case FIR No. 48/16, dated 04/08/2016, U/S 25 Arms Act/120B IPC was registered P.S. Special Cell, Lodhi Colony, New Delhi.

INTERROGATION : During interrogation, accused Asad @ Pahalwandisclosed that he is involved in illegal trade of arms from two years.He has supplied many consignments of Arms in various parts of western UP and Delhi NCR during this period.While he used to do “Pheri” of SohanPapri(a sweet) in the villages of his adjoining areas he came in contact with some illegal arms manufacturers and suppliers from Jaula, Muzaffarnagar, UP and Falawda, Meerut, UP. It is revealed that he used to purchase country made firearm of .315 bore with 5 cartridges for an amount of Rs. 7 to 8 thousand and long barrel gun of .315 bore (Muskat) for an amount of Rs. 10 to 12 thousand. From sale of every weapon he used to earn profit of Rs. 5 to 6 thousand.

Sagar @ Punter a sharp shooter of Naveen Khati Gang arrested

Two sophisticated pistols alongwith 9 cartridges recovered. A reward of Rs 50,000/- was declared by Delhi Police for his arrest. A team of Special Cell, Northern Range, led by Insp. Sanjay Nagpal, Inspr. Prabhat Kumar & Insp. Pankaj Kumar under the supervision of Shri Pankaj Sood, ACP has arrested sharp shooter of notorious and desperate gangster Naveen @ Khati namely  Sagar @ Punter, alongwith his associate Ravi @ Cheeru. Two pistols alongwith 9 cartridges were recovered from their possession.  A Bullet Motor-Cycle used by gangster has also been seized. A reward of Rs 50,000/- was declared by Delhi Police for his arrest. There is a long history of gang war in Najafgarh and adjoining areas.
