Rearrested after escaping from Haryana police custody in year-2001.

HARDCORE INTERSTATE CRIMINAL SATBIR @ PAPPU BAWARIA, WHO WAS FORCIBALY GOT RELEASED FROM CUSTODY OF HARYANA POLICE IN 2001 AND PROCLAIMED OFFENDER IN MANY CASES, ARRESTED ALONGWITH WIFE.

  • The accused is in the list of Most Wanted criminals of Haryana, which is uploaded on website of Haryana Police.
  • Involved in Six cases of dacoity & murder registered in Haryana, Punjab and Delhi.
  • Whole family involved in criminal activities.
  • His wife is a Proclaimed Offender in a shop theft case.
The sleuths of Anti-Auto Theft Squad/West District have arrested a desperate criminal Satbir @ Pappu @ Raj Kumar S/o Gurdayal @ Nathu Bawaria in case FIR No. 702/16, U/S 25/54/56 Arms Act, P.S. Rajouri Garden, Delhi and his wife Kamlesh @ Indra. He had already been declared Proclaimed Offender in four cases of P.S. Rai Distt. Sonipat, P.S. Gohana Distt. Sonipat, P.S. Gharonda Distt. Karnal and P.S. City Bahadurgarh Distt. Jhajjar, Haryana. He is also wanted in case FIR No. 273/03, dt. 02/06/03, U/S 458/459 IPC, P.S. Sadar Patiala, Punjab.

INFORMATION/ OPERATION: -
On 03/08/2016 information was received by Inspector Raj Pal Dabas, I/C AATS/West District, Delhi that the above accused would come to Woodland Park, Near Subhash Nagar Chowk, Delhi to meet his associates. The informer also informed that he always possess a country made weapon. After due legal process, a team comprising SI Sumer Singh, ASI Dilbag Singh, ASI Satish Kaushik, HC Sudama, No. 1469/W, HC Ajay Kumar, No. 61/W, HC Ved Parkash, No. 51/W, Ct. Amit Kumar, No. 863/W and W/Ct. Ansuma, No. 2173/W (P.S. Rajouri Garden) was constituted to act promptly. The team so constituted was working under the leadership of Raj Pal Dabas, Inspector/ AATS/ West and overall supervision of Sh. Dinesh Tiwari, ACP/ Operations/ West District. The team laid a trap at strategic place, near Subhash Nagr chowk, Delhi.
 
At about 5.50 PM, a person and a lady came in a Maruti Swift Car No. DL9C AC 2713 from Tilak Nagar side and parked the car near the gate of Woodland Park. The duo entered the park. On pointing out by informer, the team swiftly swung into action and apprehended the duo. On asking, the person told his name as Raj Kumar and also produced his driving licence as proof. On raising suspicion, he was subjected to sustained interrogation, he admitted that his real name is Satbir @ Pappu @ Raj Kumar S/o Gurdayal @ Nathu Bawaria R/o  A-50, Akash Vihar, Ranhola, Delhi & his wife Kamlesh @ Indra. Personal search of Satbir @ Pappu @ Raj Kumar was conducted and one loaded country made firearms with one spare live cartridge was recovered from his possession. The same were taken into police possession after due legal formalities. Thereafter, a criminal case FIR No. 702/16, U/S 25/54/59 Arms Act was got registered at P.S. Rajouri Garden, Delhi and accused Satbir @ Pappu @ Raj Kumar was arrested in this case. During later course of enquiry, it revealed that the lady Kamlesh w/o Satbir @ Pappu @ Raj Kumar is also a declared Proclaimed Offender in case FIR No. 636/07, dated 06/10/2007, U/S 379/411/34 IPC, P.S. Model Town, Delhi. Accordingly, she was arrested vide separate Kalandra U/S 41.1 (c) Cr.P.C.

Two sophisticated pistols alongwith 9 cartridges recovered. A reward of Rs 50,000/- was declared by Delhi Police for his arrest. A team of Special Cell, Northern Range, led by Insp. Sanjay Nagpal, Inspr. Prabhat Kumar & Insp.
