ONE ROBBER/CHEAT ARRESTED

  • ACCUSED IMPERSONATED AS POLICE OFFICER
  • ARTIFICIAL JEWELLERY AND ONE MOTER CYCLE RECOVERED
The team of PS Model Town, North West District has arrested one Haider Ali@Bhumi (23 years) S/o Yusaf Ali R/O H.No. 67 Bhogal Jangpura Delhi from main road Priyadarshani Vihar Colony while he alongwith his associates were attempting to Cheat/Rob one Shri Ram Avtar Gupta by impersonating themselves as Police Officer.

Sh. Ram Avtar Gupta was going back to his house from Hanuman Mandir New Gupta Conony.  When he reached near his house, two persons came introduced themselves as Police Officers.  The duo informed Shri Ram Avtar Gupta about the incidents of Robbery occurring in the area these days and further advised him to keep his gold chain, kada, etc. in safe custody. When Shri Ram Avtar Gupta refused to comply with their advise, the duo threatened him and forcibly took off his gold Chain and Kada. On this Shri Ram Avtar Gupta raised alarm for help.   The call for help was heard by the police party patrolling nearby.  The police party immediately rushed to the spot.  As soon as the police party arrived at the scene, the three accused persons later identified as Iqbal, Shail and Chand managed to escape on one motorcycle, where Haider Ali@Bhumi could not escape and was arrested with one red colour Pulsar M/Cycle.  On the personal search some artificial Jewellery was also recorved from his possession. A case vide FIR No.454/16 U/S 392/34 IPC was registered at PS Model Town and taken up for investigation.

Hader Ali@Bhumi (23 years) S/o  Ali R/o H.No.67, Bhogal, Jangpura, Delhi is an illilterate and a native of Momin Pura, Nagpur, Maharastra.  About six month back, his mother came to Delhi and started working in kothis and also called the accused to come to Delhi.

Sagar @ Punter a sharp shooter of Naveen Khati Gang arrested

Two sophisticated pistols alongwith 9 cartridges recovered. A reward of Rs 50,000/- was declared by Delhi Police for his arrest. A team of Special Cell, Northern Range, led by Insp. Sanjay Nagpal, Inspr. Prabhat Kumar & Insp. Pankaj Kumar under the supervision of Shri Pankaj Sood, ACP has arrested sharp shooter of notorious and desperate gangster Naveen @ Khati namely  Sagar @ Punter, alongwith his associate Ravi @ Cheeru. Two pistols alongwith 9 cartridges were recovered from their possession.  A Bullet Motor-Cycle used by gangster has also been seized. A reward of Rs 50,000/- was declared by Delhi Police for his arrest. There is a long history of gang war in Najafgarh and adjoining areas. He is a dreaded criminal of PS Shalimar Bagh and is involved in total 15 cases including two murders at PS Burari & Mandir Marg.
