DREADED ROBBER ARRESTED

The Special Staff team of South-West District has arrested following three Robbers involved in Rs. 1.5 lakh robbery of 
PS Malviya Nagar, dated 05/08/2016:-

Ø  Zahid s/o Mahboob r/o House No. – 478, Dakshin Puri, Delhi. (Age – 24 Yrs.)
Ø  Rahul Sharma s/o Vipin Sharma r/o B-1/522, Madangir, Delhi. (Age – 23 Yrs.)

Brief Facts:- On 05/08/2016, an incident of cash robbery of Rs. 1.5 Lacs took place in the area of PS Malviya Nagar, in which accused persons robbed to one Atul Goel S/o Om Prakash R/o B-137, Malviya Nagar on gun point. Upon this, a case vide FIR No. 614/16 U/s 392/394/397/34 IPC & 27 Arms Act, was registered at PS Malviya Nagar.

On 09/08/2016, a secret information was received by special staff SWD that two persons namely Jahid and Rahul Sharma who are involved in a cash robbery of Rs 1.5 Lacs of PS Malviya Nagar area, would come near sector-14 Metro Station to commit some crime. On this information, a trap was laid down Near Sec-14, Metro Station, Dwarka and both the accused were apprehended by Special Staff/South West District.

During interrogation, accused Zahid stated that he is in a small business of sale purchase of cloths. From the few months, he was badly in depth and he needed money. In the mean time, he met his friend Rahul Sharma and his brother-in- law Mazhar, who were also facing financial crises. They decided to commit a cash robbery. They had also stolen a motorcycle from the area of Madangiri to use it in the commission of crime. They started searching their target who used to carry huge cash and their search ended upon one Atul Goel, who is in the business of eggs supply and he borrowed huge cash from his office situated at Dakshin Puri to his house at Malviya Nagar. They recceed the way often used by the complainant Atul Goel from his office to his house. On 05/08/2016, they reached near the house of Atul Goel on the stolen motorcycle and started waiting for him. When Atul Goel came, they robbed his bag containing cash Rs. 1.5 Lacs on gun point.

Sagar @ Punter a sharp shooter of Naveen Khati Gang arrested

Two sophisticated pistols alongwith 9 cartridges recovered. A reward of Rs 50,000/- was declared by Delhi Police for his arrest. A team of Special Cell, Northern Range, led by Insp. Sanjay Nagpal, Inspr. Prabhat Kumar & Insp. Pankaj Kumar under the supervision of Shri Pankaj Sood, ACP has arrested sharp shooter of notorious and desperate gangster Naveen @ Khati namely  Sagar @ Punter, alongwith his associate Ravi @ Cheeru. Two pistols alongwith 9 cartridges were recovered from their possession.  A Bullet Motor-Cycle used by gangster has also been seized. A reward of Rs 50,000/- was declared by Delhi Police for his arrest. There is a long history of gang war in Najafgarh and adjoining areas. HE ALLEGEDELY OPERATED INSIDE THE JAIL CARRYING REWARD OF Rs. 20,000/- District Anti Robbery Cell, NWD has nabbed a desperate extortionist namely Harsimran @ Badal @ Simran s/o Harvinder Singh r/o BK-1/103-A, East Shalimar Bagh, Delhi, who is gang leader of Harsimran @ Badal Gang and carrying reward of Rs. 20000/-. He is a dreaded criminal of PS Shalimar Bagh and is involved in total 15 cases including two murders at PS Burari & Mandir Marg.
