RICE TRADER’S STAFFERS BROAD DAYLIGHT AND CLUELESS ROBBERY CASE CRACKED

  • MASTERMIND ALONGWITH TWO ASSOCIATES ARRESTED.

With the arrest of three accused Ajit Singh (24yrs) s/o Rakesh Kumar r/o P-1/18, Budh Vihar, Phase-I, Delhi, (2) Aashu Srivastav (30 Yrs) s/o Radhey Shyam r/o 528, Ist floor, Gali No. 1, Sri Nagar, Rani Bagh, Delhi and (3) Mukesh Pal (26 Yrs) s/o Raj Kumar r/o H.NO. 185, Village Pitampura, Delhi,  the sleuths of PS Punjabi Bagh have worked out sensational robbery case of Rs. 80 Lakh.
INCIDENT / BRIEF FACTS :
A PCR Call was received on 28-07-16 at 1152 hrs at PS Punjabi Bagh that 8-9 persons on four bikes robbed a bag containing Rs. 80 lakh on gunpoint at underpass behind Shakur Basti, Delhi. The same was entrusted to SI Anoop, who along with PSI Pooja, D-5553 rushed to the spot and met the complainant.  He reported that he is working in Rice Wholesale Company based at Kohat Enclave, Delhi and Lahori Gate, Delhi.  There are two partners of the company.  He further stated that he alongwith other employee supplied the goods on the directions of one of the owner and also collected the money for the items and deposited that amount in ICICI Bank, Asaf Ali Road with the help of one bank Employee Ajit.  On 27.07.16 complainant and another employee collected the money from the merchants at Naya Bazar around 80 lakh and reached their office at 7.30 PM.  The other employee took that money and they went to his house and complainant stayed at Kohat Enclave Office.  On 28.07.16 Complainant came to Kohat Enclave Office to deposit the amount into ICICI Bank.  He sat on the scooty of complainant to hold the black colour bag containing Rs. 80 Lakh.  While they reached the underpass Shakur Basti, four boys on two motorcycles forcibly stopped them at gun point and snatched the bag having Rs. 80 lakh.  Accordingly, a case vide FIR No. 467/16 u/s 392/397/34 IPC PS Punjabi Bagh, Delhi was registered and investigation taken up  earnestly.
POLICE TEAM:

A team was constituted under the supervision of ACP Punjabi Bagh Sh. Ankit Chauhan, and comprising Inspr. Rajeev Bhardwaj, SHO Punjabi Bagh, Inspr./AATS Raj Pal Dabas, SI Satinder Khari, SI Sandeep Dabas, SI Anoop Singh, SI Vikram, ASI Naresh, HC Narender, HC Sunil, HC Naresh, Ct. Kuldeep, Ct. Manish, Ct. Rupesh, Ct. Ajeet, Ct Vinod, Ct Sukhbir to cracked the case at the earliest. Raids in Punjab and Delhi were conducted to nab the accused persons.

Two sophisticated pistols alongwith 9 cartridges recovered. A reward of Rs 50,000/- was declared by Delhi Police for his arrest. A team of Special Cell, Northern Range, led by Insp. Sanjay Nagpal, Inspr. Prabhat Kumar & Insp. Pankaj Kumar under the supervision of Shri Pankaj Sood, ACP has arrested sharp shooter of notorious and desperate gangster Naveen @ Khati namely  Sagar @ Punter, alongwith his associate Ravi @ Cheeru. Two pistols alongwith 9 cartridges were recovered from their possession.  A Bullet Motor-Cycle used by gangster has also been seized.
