3 DACOITS OPERATING IN DELHI & NCR ARRESTED

  • USED FIREARM IN COMMITTING DACOITY WHICH INJURED ONE PERSON.
  • FORMER EMPLOYEE HATCHED CONSPIRACY TO LOOT THE CASH

INTRODUCTION: - Crime Branch has arrested three members of a notorious gang of dacoits namely (i) Rashid (23 yrs) s/o Islamuddin r/o Near Ramwati School, Ram Park, Loni, Ghaziabad, UP, and permanent address: Village: Fazal Pur, PS Binauli Distt. Baghpat, UP (ii) Mohit Kumar (22 yrs) s/o Kaptan Singh r/o H.No.266, Main 25 Foota Road, Block-G-4, Sonia Vihar, Delhi  and (iii) Luvkush (22 yrs) s/o Makhan Lal r/o H.No.E-61, Gali No.8, Shastri Park, New Delhi and solved a sensational dacoity case registered vide FIR No.251/16 dated 16/07/16 u/s 395/397/307 IPC & 25/27 Arms Act PS Kashmere Gate, Delhi.
INCIDENT: -
On 16.07.2016, one Satish Kumar @ Mintoo working with M/S Daijex Auto Enterprises, 1288/7, Vardhman House, Kashmere Gate, Delhi reported that after winding up the cash bag containing the sales proceeds of the day, he alongwith his cousin Amarjit and one employee Ram Chander Shukla were going to board Metro Rail for their home in Rohini. At about 8.00 pm, when they reached near Green Castle Hotel on Lothian Road, all of a sudden, three boys coming from opposite side tried to snatch the cash bag but after a short scuffle, he managed to throw cash bag to his cousin. On this, the criminals fired on his cousin Amarjit. When he was being chased by the dacoits, few people gathered. Fearing backlash from the public, they rode their motorcycles and fled away from there.
INFORMATION, TEAM AND OPERATION: -
On 15.08.2016, a specific information was received by SI Ravinder Teotia of South Eastern Range, Crime Branch that the criminals involved in a dacoity case of Kashmere Gate would assemble at Ghari Park, Kudesia Ghat near ISBT, Kashmere Gate, to commit some other crime. Acting upon the information, a team led by ACP Ishwar Singh, consisting of SI Ravinder Teotia, ASI Vishnu Bhagwan, HCs Santosh, Aslup Khan, Cts. Mohit Kumar, Anil Chauhan, Ravi Yadav and Mohd. Talim was constituted under supervision of DCP Bhisham Singh and overall guidance of Addl.CP K.K. Vyas to nab them.
Accordingly, a trap was laid at the place of information and all the three gang members were overpowered. On sustained interrogation, they confessed to have committed the dacoity on 16.07.2016 at Lothian Road with the help of their other associates namely Ashvani Pandit, Tanvir Alam @ Monu, Shamim, Salman @ Sallu and Murli. All the three gang members have been arrested under section 41.1 CrPC.

Sagar @ Punter a sharp shooter of Naveen Khati Gang arrested

Two sophisticated pistols alongwith 9 cartridges recovered. A reward of Rs 50,000/- was declared by Delhi Police for his arrest. A team of Special Cell, Northern Range, led by Insp. Sanjay Nagpal, Inspr. Prabhat Kumar & Insp. Pankaj Kumar under the supervision of Shri Pankaj Sood, ACP has arrested sharp shooter of notorious and desperate gangster Naveen @ Khati namely  Sagar @ Punter, alongwith his associate Ravi @ Cheeru. Two pistols alongwith 9 cartridges were recovered from their possession.  A Bullet Motor-Cycle used by gangster has also been seized. A reward of Rs 50,000/- was declared by Delhi Police for his arrest. There is a long history of gang war in Najafgarh and adjoining areas.
