TWO YOUTHS INVOLVED IN BURGLARY ARRESTED

  • STOLEN MONEY RS 6.04 LAKH, 24 SILVER COINS AND 2 LAPTOP ETC RECEVORED FROM THEM.
The Special staff of North-West District has arrested two youths found involved in  burglary in the office of medicine distributor at Paschim Vihar. They have been identified as Manoj Singh age 22 years and Sumit Suhag @ Mittey age 22 years. Manoj Singh has been working in the account department of the victim company till the day of arrest. Rs six lakh four thousand cash, two laptops, twenty four silver notes/coins and a bag containing documents etc of the medicine firm have been recovered from them. A case was registered vide FIR No.213/17 dated 26.04.17 U/s 457/380 IPC PS Mianwali Nagar, Delhi in this regard.
INCIDENT
On 26.04.17, Sh. Shyam Sunder Kathuria reported that he closed the office of his firm M/s Life Line Pharma Distributor, Paschim Vihar, New Delhi on 25.04.2017 at about 7 P.M. On 26.04.17 at about 8 A.M, when he reached his office he found the main gate unlocked. On checking Rs.6,93,294/- kept in the locker, Rs.2 lacs approximately kept in the drawer, silver coins, two laptops and DVR box were found stolen by someone in the night. In this regard a case FIR No.213/17 dated 25.04.17 U/s 457/380 IPC PS Mianwali Nagar was registered on the complaint of Sh. Shyam Sunder.
TEAM, ARREST AND PROFILE
While working on information about burglars active in the North-West district, Constable Vicky Kumar of special staff got information about the two boys involved in night burglary in the area of Pachim Vihar. In order to nab the criminals a team of Special Staff of North-west District consisting of S.I’s Manjeet Singh, Vijender Nagar, ASI’s Sukhvinder Singh, Sushil Kumar, Suresh Kumar, HC’s Satender Kumar, Ct’s. Sushil Kumar, Dharmender, Pardeep Kumar, Amit, Sombir and Anuj Kumar headed by Inspr. Balihar Singh, I/C Special Staff and under the overall supervision of Sh. Rajender Pal ACP/Operations was formed to further develop the information and apprehend the burglars involved in the incident.  Acting upon specific information that they would come on motorcycle No. DL-8S BQ-9484 makes Apache near power house in the area of PS Maurya Enclave to meet one of their associate. Accordingly, trap was laid and  a motorcycle No DL-8S BQ-9484 was intercepted at Power House near Ring road on 30.04.2017. On checking two laptops and silver coins/ notes were recovered from them and they

both confessed their involvement in the burglary of Paschim Vihar and as such they were arrested U/s 41.1 Cr.PC. Further recoveries of Rs. Six lakh four thousand have been affected from their houses on the basis of their disclosure statements. This motorcycle was also used in the commission of crime and as such the same was also seized as evidence in this case.
INTERROGATION AND PROFILE
During interrogation, Manoj Singh stated that he has been working in the  Account section of M/s Life Line Pharma Distributers Ltd, Paschim Vihar, New Delhi for the last about 18 months and as such he knows everything about the cash kept in the office. He was in need of money for his lavish life styles and as such he contacted his school mate Sumit Suhag for committing theft in the office. Sumit Suhag was also in the need of money as he has borrowed loan from a jeweler and other persons to meet his habit of gambling etc. They both further contacted one “ Annu” of Shahbad Dairy. On the day of incident, Manoj Singh, Sumit Suhag, Annu and two other persons came on two motorcycles and they committed burglary at Paschim Vihar, New Delhi.
PROFILE
Manoj Singh has studied up to 12th class. He is working in the account department of the company. He has been arrested first time.
Sumit Suhag has studied up to 10th class. He was doing a private job in a courier company but at present he is unemployed. He came in touch with bad elements and involved himself in the gambling etc. He was in contact of one Annu of Shahbad dairy area and Annu further arranged two more persons to commit this burglary. Both are resident of Prem Nagar, Kirari, Delhi.

The efforts are continued to arrest the remaining members of this gang and there is every possibility of their involvements in more cases and further recoveries.

Sagar @ Punter a sharp shooter of Naveen Khati Gang arrested

Two sophisticated pistols alongwith 9 cartridges recovered. A reward of Rs 50,000/- was declared by Delhi Police for his arrest. A team of Special Cell, Northern Range, led by Insp.
