FOUR PERSONS INCLUDING ONE NIGERIAN NATIONAL ARRESTED IN TWO CASES OF DRUG TRAFFICKING

960 GMS OF FINE QUALITY HEROINE RECOVERED FROM  THE POSSESSION OF THE ACCUSED PERSONS, VALUE OF RECOVERED DRUGS IS Rs.1 CRORE IN THE INTERNATIONAL MARKET, RECOVERED DRUG WAS TO BE CONSUMED IN DELHI & PUNJAB

Narcotics Cell of Crime Branch, Delhi has busted two networks of drug peddlers supplying narcotic drugs in Delhi & Punjab and has arrested four accused persons (including one Nigerian national) namely (1) Hemraj @ Shera s/o Niranjan r/o W-45A/55, P-1 Block, Sultanpuri Delhi (2) Nitu @ Nikka s/o Jeetmaseeh r/o Isanagar (Makhoo) Distt. Firojpur Punjab, (3) Brijesh Kumar Garg s/o Satpal r/o Chak Beer Sarkar Road, Muktsar, Punjab and (4) Elime David s/o David r/o 71 Ajbobi Delta State Nigeria (temporary staying in Uttam Nagar Delhi) in two cases. The seized drug were to be distributed in Delhi and Punjab.  

INFORMATION, TEAM & OPERATION RELATED TO FIRST CASE

1. On 24/05/2017, an information was received through a secret informer  that one Brijesh Kumar is engaged in supply of heroin in Punjab and Delhi and he would come at Mata Chanan Devi Hospital, Janak Puri Delhi to receive a huge consignment of heroin from an African National namely, Ejime David by his fortuner car No. CH-01AJ-7337. On this information, a team of Narcotics Branch officials laid a trap near Mata Chanan Devi Hospital, Janak Puri, Delhi and on the instance of the informer, arrested Brijesh Kumar Garg s/o Satpal r/o Chak Beer Sarkar Road Muktsar Punjab and Elime David s/o David r/o 71 Ajbobi Delta State Nigeria (temporary staying in Uttam Nagar Delhi) with 100 grams heroin in the possession of Brijesh Kumar and 160 Gram heroin in the possession of Ejime David respectively. A case FIR No. 75/17 dated 24/05/2017 u/s 21/29 NDPS Act has been registered in this regard at PS Crime Branch, Delhi.

2. During sustained interrogation, it was revealed that the heroine supply network was being operated from Punjab. Further investigation is on to unearth the entire racket.

INFORMATION, TEAM & OPERATION RELATED TO SECOND CASE

3. On 25/05/2017, an information was received through secret informer  that one Hemraj @ Shera and his associate Nitu @ Nikka residing somewhere in Peeragarhi, Delhi is indulged in sale & supply of heroin in Delhi and that the duo would come to supply heroin to someone near Guru Nanaksar Gurdwara, Delhi. On this information, a team of Narcotics Cell officials laid a trap near Guru Nanaksar Gurdwara, Delhi and on the instance of the informer, accused namely, Hemraj @ Shera and Nitu @ Nikka were apprehended and  250 Gram & 450 Gram of fine quality heroin was recovered from their possession. In this regard, a Case FIR No. 78/17 u/s 21/29 NDPS Act PS has been registered at PS Crime Branch, Delhi and further investigation is on.

4. During sustained interrogation, accused persons disclosed, that they were, working for their master who is also known by the name of ‘Shera of Punjab’. Both the accused persons further disclosed that the recovered contraband was procured from one “Bhaijaan” of Faridpur, Bareilly, UP who was in regular contact with their master.

5. It was also revealed during interrogation that Shera used to give them advance payment in a sealed envelop to deliver the same to Bhaijaan (source) and in turn the said Bhaijaan used to supply consignment of Heroin at a pre fixed place.

6. It was also revealed that the accused persons used to travel from roadways buses plying from Delhi to Bareilly and vice versa to avoid police raid.

PROFILE:-

1. Accused Hemraj @ Shera (26 Yrs) s/o Niranjan r/o W-45A/55, P-1 Block, Sultanpuri, Delhi is a married person having two minor kids.  He came in contact with Shera two years back and started consuming heroin in his association.  Thereafter, he started procuring and supplying heroin from Bareilly on the instructions of his boss, Shera. Accused used to visit Bareilly frequently on a 10/12 days interval.  

2. Accused Nitu @ Nikka (25 Yrs) s/o Jeetmaseeh r/o Isanagar (Makhoo) Distt. Firojpur Punjab, temporarily residing in the Punjabi Relief Camp, Peeragarhi, Delhi is unmarried.  He also came in contact with Shera about nine months back when he met him first time in Firojpur, Punjab.  In the association of Shera, he initially started consuming heroin and thereafter started supplying/carrying heroin from Bareilly, UP with his another associate, Hemraj @ Shera.

3. Accused Brijesh Kumar Garg (40 Yrs) s/o Satpal r/o Chak Beer Sarkar Road Muktsar, Punjab is an unmarried Post Graduate belonging to a reputed family of Muktsar, Punjab. He is jobless and depended entirely on the earning of his family to survive.  Initially he was arrested in Punjab with a small quantity of heroin. During his custody in jail, he came in touch with one Manoj who has been operating the entire chain of heroin supply in Punjab and Delhi.  Monoj and one Nigerian National both are presently lodged in Patiala Jail.

4. Accused Elime David s/o David r/o 71 Ajbobi Delta State Nigeria (temporary staying in Uttam Nagar, Delhi) came to India in 2012 on student VISA and thereafter did not return to Nigeria on expiry of his VISA period.  Presently, he is residing illegally in India. He indulges in the supply of heroin on the instruction of his master John who is presently lodged in Patiala Jail.
