DESPERATE CRIMINAL INVOLVED IN ATTEMPT TO MURDER AND FIRING CASE ARRESTED

  • SENSATIONAL ATTEMPT TO MURDER CUM FIRING CASE OF KAJHAWLA SOLVED
  • ACCUSED IS THE MEMBER OF GANG OF KARAMVEER KALE OF KHANJHAWLA
  • INVOLVED IN 4 CASES INCLUDING A CASE OF KIDNAPPING WITH MURDER.
Information : On 16 May 2017, a secret information was received by HC Dinesh in the office of Central Range, Crime Branch, Delhi, that a wanted criminal by the name of Deepak @ Thada @ Kukku, who is involved in a case of Attempt to Murder, in which fire arms was used was registered vide FIR No. 157 dated 18.04.2017 under Section 307/34 of Indian Penal Code, 1860 and 27/54/59 of Arms Act, with Police Station Kanjhawla, Delhi in which  one person namely Jogender S/o Sh. Narain Singh was shot twice with a firearm by Jagdeep in active association with Deepak @ Thada @ Kukku and Sumit. The information was developed further and after confirmation the same was shared with Insp. Pankaj Arora, who after reconfirming the same constituted a team comprising of ASI Balwan Singh, ASI Rajbir, HC Dinesh to nab the accused.
OPERATION
The raiding party in civil clothes along with the informer reached near T Point, Wazirabad, Delhi. As soon as the accused reached the spot, he was identified by the informer as Deepak and accordingly he was intercepted by the raiding party for questioning.  
On interrogation, the suspect informed his name as Deepak @ Dhada @ Kukku, son of Sh. Om Parkash, resident of Kanjhawla. Thereafter, he was accompanied to the office of Central Range, Crime Branch situated at Old Kotwali Building, Delhi for further questioning.
On sustained interrogation he admitted his involvement in the above mentioned Attempt to Murder case Accordingly, accused Deepak @ Thada @ Kukku was arrested under Section 41.1 (d) of Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, in case FIR No. 157 dated 18.04.2017 under Section 307/34 of Indian Penal Code, 1860 and 27/54/59 of Arms Act, registered with Police Station Kanjhawla, New Delhi. He also admitted his involvement in another case registered vide FIR No. 155/17, u/s 341/323/506/34 Indian Penal Code, 1860, registered with P.S. Kanjhawla, New Delhi.

Jagdeep (his associate in the above mentioned case of Attempt to Murder) has already been arrested by local police and presently he is in Judicial Custody. He further informed that the pistol used in the above crime was purchased by Jagdeep from Mandeep, of Ghewra Village.

Efforts are being made to nab of Mandeep and Sumit (other associate). Other involvements of accused Deepak are being verified.

Profile of Arrestee
The accused Deepak Pandit belongs to a farmer family residing in Village Kanjhawla, Delhi and has studied up to 10th standard from school of his village. Later, he fell in bad company, started to take Drugs and got involved in theft cases and other petty offences to meet expenses of Drugs. During this period, he was influenced by lifestyle of Karambir Kala of his own village who is a dreaded gangster and started to commit robbery at gun point. He was involved in a sensational case of Kidnapping and Murder in which he was arrested and remained in Judicial Custody for 4 years where his present associate Jagdeep met him.
