Crime Branch has busted an interstate gang of drug peddlers with the arrest of 3 persons (i) Israel Echem (32 yrs) s/o Mr. Echem r/o Mohan Garden Peepal Chowk, Nawada, Uttam Nagar, Delhi Permanent Add. Umunze Anambara State, Nigeria (ii) Darlington Chiemezie (30 yrs) s/o Mr. Asikaogu r/o Oru East, Local Govt. IMO, Nigeria and (iii) Md. Dhobir (25 yrs) s/o Md. Dulal r/o H.No.132/5, Hazrat Nizamudin, Delhi and recovered 430 gm fine quality heroin (smack) and 105 gm of fine quality cocaine from their possessions in three separate incidents. Ø    Accused were making extortion calls for Rs. 25 lacs to the complainant.                                 The joint team of  Special Staff and PS Hauz Khas, South District  have arrested three extortionists namely  Raghav Chauhan , age 24 years s/o Ratan Singh Chauhan r/o Vilage Nanagla Dan, District Kasganj, UP,  Anshul Mishra , age 24 years s/o Anil Mishra r/o Village Ritaul, District Farrukhabad, UP and  Astitiva Singh , age 25 years s/o Rajender Singh r/o H. No. 194, Thandi Sadak, District Farrukhabad, UP, who were making extortion calls for Rs. 25 lacs to the complainant. Brief facts : On 23.10.16, the complainant Sh. MASTERMIND ROBBER USED TO HYPNOTIZE THE VICTIM Crime Branch has arrested a member of gang of robbers, Kabir @ Akbar (26 yrs) s/o Haider Ali r/o T-73, Basti Hazrat Nizamuddin, Delhi, who alongwith his associate used to rob victims after impersonating themselves as police officers. INCIDENT : - On 06.08.2016, one senior citizen Sh. Ram Avtar Gupta r/o Priadarshini Colony, Model Town, Delhi went to a nearby mandir for prayers. While he was coming back towards his house, two boys stopped him and told him that they were police officers of the area and that being a senior citizen why he was wearing gold chain and wrist-band, despite warning issued by the police in this regard.
