Sensational robbery of Rs 33 Lacs solved within 48 Hrs.

With the arrest of five criminals East Distt Police has worked out the sensational case of Robbery worth Rs. 33 Lacs, within 48 Hours. The arrested accused are:

1. Davender Kumar Aggarwal s/o Sh. Ved PrakeshAggarwal R/o H.No D- 5/3, Dayalpur, Karaval Nagar road, Delhi-94, Age 42 years
2. Harsheet S/o Sh Jagdish R/o H.No-6982, Kila kadam Sharif, Nabi Karim,  Delhi-55 Age- 19 yrs
3. Illayash S/o Mehrum Chand Khan R/o H.No-BB-63, Nabi Karim, Delhi-55 Age-34 Year
4. Mohan S/o Sh Vinod Kumar R/o H.No-6982, Kila kadam Sharif, Nabi   Karim, Delhi-55 Age-28 Year
5. Sonu Malik S/o Mohd Ahsas Malik R/o H.No-AB-131, Amarpuri, Nabi Karim, Delhi-55 Age-20 Year

INFORMATION & TEAM:- On 14.10.16, a PCR call was received at PS Shakarpur, regarding snatching of Rs. 33 lacs at Vikas marg. The complainant Devender stated that he is an employee of a businessman in Gandhi nagar amd works as a collection agent for him. When he along with his co-worker Neeraj were coming towards Gandhi Nagar on his scooty after collecting a sum of Rs 33 lakhs from another businessman in Karol Bagh, two persons on a black Pulsar motorcycle, snatched a bag containing Rs. 33 Lacs from them. Accordingly, a case vide FIR No. 826/16, U/S 356/379/34 IPC was registered at PS Shakarpur Delhi.
Three different teams under the overall supervision of Shri Sanjeev Gupta, ACP/Preet Vihar under leadership of Insp. Tanvir Ashraf SHO/Shakarpur comprising of SI Sanjay Kumar, SI Ranvir Singh, ASI Bhopal, HC Sunil, Cts. Kunwar Pal, Rahul, Sharwan, Rajbir was constituted. The teams collected manual and technical information and mounted  surveillance over criminalsto crack down the case.
During the course of investigation, the complainant and his co- worker were interrogated and their statements were found suspicious. Further, Devender was interrogated at length, who admitted his involvement in the conspiracy. He further disclosed that he works as a cash carrier with a businessman at Gandhi Nagar, Delhi. About a month ago, he hatched a conspiracy along with his co- associates namely Illayash, Mohan, Harshit, Mohd. Sonu Malik and Shahid to rob the cash amount and stage it as a case of snatching/robbery.
On the day of incident, Devender along with Neeraj Sharma received a sum of Rs. 33 lacs from a businessman at Karol Bagh. As per the plan, his associates were supposed to snatch this amount while he was on the way to Gandhi Nagar. While he along with his co-worker Neeraj Sharma was carrying the said amount from Karol Bagh to Gandhi Nagar, he kept on conveying his location to Mohan who along with Harsheet kept following them. Later, Devender dumped the mobile in Yamuna khaddar.

 Sonu and Shahid were also following them on a black Pulsar Motorcycle. When they reached Vikas Marg, after crossing Yamuna bridge, Sonu  and Shahid who were on black Pulsar Motorcycle  snatched the bag containing the cash.
At his instance, a part of snatched amount (Rs. 23,27,500/-), used mobile phones and vehicles were recovered and four co-accused were also arrested. One accused namely Shahid along with remaining snatched money is still absconding.

A CHRONIC CHEAT AND PROCLAIMED OFFENDER IN MORE THAN 13 CASES ARRESTED

The PO Staff of PS Rani Bagh, North West District has arrested one Brij Bhushan Sharma S/O Shri Ghan Shyam Sharma R/O 776/14, Sec-14, Faridabad, Haryana, a chronic cheat and a proclaimed offender (PO) in more than 13 cases on 15.12.2015. The issue of arrest/tracing of POs has always remained top priority of policing.
