3 PERSONS INVOLVED IN DRUG TRAFFICKING ARRESTED

  • 430 GM HEROIN AND 104 GM COCAINE OF FINE QUALITY RECOVERED.
  • VALUE OF RECOVERED DRUGS HEROIN AND COCAINE IS RS. 70 LAC IN INTERNATIONAL MARKET.
Crime Branch has busted an interstate gang of drug peddlers with the arrest of 3 persons (i) Israel Echem (32 yrs) s/o Mr. Echem r/o Mohan Garden Peepal Chowk, Nawada, Uttam Nagar, Delhi Permanent Add. Umunze Anambara State, Nigeria (ii) Darlington Chiemezie (30 yrs) s/o Mr. Asikaogu r/o Oru East, Local Govt. IMO, Nigeria and (iii) Md. Dhobir (25 yrs) s/o Md. Dulal r/o H.No.132/5, Hazrat Nizamudin, Delhi and recovered 430 gm fine quality heroin (smack) and 105 gm of fine quality cocaine from their possessions in three separate incidents.
    1. In first incident, an information was received by SI Sanjay Neolia on 25.10.2016 that one Nigerian national Israel Echem r/o Newada, Delhi is indulged in supply of heroin in Delhi. The information further entailed that he would come near Outer Ring Road. Mahaveer Nagar – Tilak Nagar Mod, Delhi for supplying huge consignment of heroin to someone.
On the basis of this information, a team of officers led by ACP Sanjeev Kumar Tyagi, consisting of Insp. Vijender Singh, SI Sanjay Neolia, HC Om Prakash, Cts Yogender and Ankush was constituted under the supervision of DCP Rajesh Deo and under overall supervision of Addl.C.P. K.K. Vyas to nab him. A trap was laid and one person Israel Echem was apprehended at the instance of the informer. During cursory search of Israel Echem, 260 gm heroin was recovered from his possession. A case vide FIR No.179/16 dated 26/10/16 u/s 21 NDPS Act was registered at PS Crime Branch.
He arrived in India for the first time 6 months ago. He was received by his fellow country man John, who was already into drugs trafficking. John lured Israel Echem to join him and supply his drugs to his contacts. Israel was in dire need of money, so he agreed to John’s offer and started supplying heroin to the contacts of John.  
    1. In the second incident, an information was received by ASI Sudhir on 26/10/2016 that one Nigerian national Darlington Chiemezie r/o Mehrauli, Delhi, is indulged in supplying of cocaine. The information further entailed that he would come near Chattarpur CNG Station, Delhi to deliver cocaine to his contacts.
On the basis of this information, a team of officers led by ACP Sanjeev Kumar Tyagi, consisting of Inspr. Sunil Kumar, ASI Sudhir, HC Vikram and Ct Manish was constituted under the supervision of DCP Rajesh Deo and under overall supervision of Addl.CP K.K. Vyas to nab him. A trap was laid near Chattarpur CNG Station and Darlington Chiemezie was apprehended. During cursory search of Darlington Chiemezie, 104 gm cocaine was recovered from his possession. A case vide FIR No.180/16 dated 26.10.2016 u/s 21 NDPS Act was registered at PS Crime Branch.  
This is his second visit to India. He indulges in drug trafficking in India on the direction of his fellow country man Tony r/o Nigeria and recently he procured drugs from Cheema r/o Nigeria. He used to deliver the contraband in the area of South Delhi i.e. R.K.Puram, Mehrauli & adjoining areas.
    1. In the third incident, an information was received by SI Jai Prakash on 26/10/2016 that Dhobir r/o Nizamuddin, Delhi, is indulged in supply of heroin. The information further entailed that Dhobir would come at Bhairon Road, near Railway Bridge, New Delhi to deliver heroin to someone.
On the basis of this information, a team of officers led by ACP Sanjeev Kumar Tyagi, consisting of Inspr. Vijender Singh, SI jai Prakash, HCs Ravinder Kumar, Om Prakash and Ct Rohit was constituted under the supervision of DCP Rajesh Deo and under overall supervision of Addl.CP K.K. Vyas to nab him. A trap was laid near Railway Bridge, Bhairon Road, Delhi and Mohd. Dhobir was apprehended. During cursory search of Mohd. Dhobir, 170 gm heroin was recovered from his possession. A case vide FIR No.182/16 dated 27.10.2016 u/s 21 NDPS Act was registered at PS Crime Branch.  

He was born in Delhi. His father and his mother used to supply ganja in Nizamuddin area. He also started working with his parents. After the death of his father, his mother shifted to Bengal. After this, he started procuring ganja from one Anna of Jal Vihar, who used to supply ganja to him at Nizamuddin. He was arrested in NDPS Act case in 2014 at PS H.N. Din. After coming on bail, he started procuring heroin from one Babu of Taimoor Nagar, Delhi and supplied further in Nizamuddin and nearby areas.

Sagar @ Punter a sharp shooter of Naveen Khati Gang arrested

Two sophisticated pistols alongwith 9 cartridges recovered. A reward of Rs 50,000/- was declared by Delhi Police for his arrest. A team of Special Cell, Northern Range, led by Insp. Sanjay Nagpal, Inspr. Prabhat Kumar & Insp. Pankaj Kumar under the supervision of Shri Pankaj Sood, ACP has arrested sharp shooter of notorious and desperate gangster Naveen @ Khati namely  Sagar @ Punter, alongwith his associate Ravi @ Cheeru. Two pistols alongwith 9 cartridges were recovered from their possession.  A Bullet Motor-Cycle used by gangster has also been seized.
