ONE MORE ACCUSED ARRESTED IN G.B. ROAD MCOCA CASE OF INTERNATIONAL HUMAN TRAFFICKING

ACCUSED IS NATIVE OF NEPAL AND WAS THE MANAGER OF THE BROTHEL (KOTHA NO:64) OWNED BY AFAQ HUSSAIN AND SAIRA BEGUM

INTRODUCTION: - Recently, in order to curb the ghastly activities of the criminal syndicate of human trafficking and prostitution operating at GB Road, Crime Branch had launched massive action and had invoked provisions of MCOCA against them for the first time ever. In continuation of its efforts, the Crime Branch has arrested one more accused person Damodar Pandey @ Makkhan (38 yrs) s/o Babu Ram Pandey r/o Village Suja, Anchal Raathi, District Dang, Nepal.
INFORMATION,TEAM AND OPERATION: - Keeping in view the sensitivity of the case, a team led by ACP Anand Kumar Mishra, consisting of Insprs. Naresh Kumar & Satish Kumar, SIs Dinesh Kumar, Rohit, Ram Kishan, ASI Jagdish, HCs Dinesh, Mahesh, Narender and Cts. Ravinder Kumar, Haider, Karambir was constituted under the close supervision of DCP Dr. G. Ramgopal Naik and under overall supervision of Addl.CP K.K. Vyas to arrest the remaining co-accused persons of the syndicate.
          The above team of Crime Branch is conducting in-depth investigation of the case and deployed sources and deployed manual surveillance to apprehend the remaining co-accused of the syndicate. Raids were conducted and  on receiving a tip-off, one more accused person Damodar Pandey @ Makkhan, s/o Babu Ram Pandey, r/o Village Suja, Anchal Raati, District Dang, Nepal, presently residing at Kotha No. 64, G.B. Road, Delhi, has been arrested on 18.10.2016 near NPL Parade Ground, Kingsway Camp, New Delhi.


INTERROGATION: -
During sustained interrogation of the accused, it is revealed that he is an active member of the syndicate. He used to be the Manager of Kotha No. 64, 3rd floor, G.B. Road, Delhi. He used to collect money from the customers and give it to Afaq Hussain and Saira Begum, who are the owners of the Kotha. He used to manage all the day to day activities of the Kotha and kept watch on the activities of “nayikas” and the victim girls.

In 2006, he came to Delhi and used to ply auto rickshaw. His elder brother Ramesh Pandey was the driver of Afaq Hussain and Saira Begum and was the active member of the syndicate and was previously arrested in the same case. He came in contact with Saira Begum and Afaq Hussain through his brother Ramesh Pandey and one Ramu and started working as Kotha manager for the last 6 years.

Sagar @ Punter a sharp shooter of Naveen Khati Gang arrested

Two sophisticated pistols alongwith 9 cartridges recovered. A reward of Rs 50,000/- was declared by Delhi Police for his arrest. A team of Special Cell, Northern Range, led by Insp. Sanjay Nagpal, Inspr. Prabhat Kumar & Insp.
