Notorious drug trafficker Farid Khan, carrying a reward of Rs one lakh, arrested

Notorious drug trafficker Farid Khan, carrying a reward of Rs one lakh, arrested. Mobile handsets with SIM cards used for drug trafficking recovered. A team of Northern Range, Special Cell led by Inspr. Vivekanand Pathak under the supervision of Shri Pankaj Sood, ACP has arrested infamous Bareilly based Interstate drug trafficker Farid Khan, aged 38 years, r/o Distt. Bareilly, UP from his house. He was wanted in case FIR No. 06 dated 10/01/2018 u/s 21 & 29 NDPS Act PS Special Cell, Delhi and evading arrest since more than five and a half months. A cash reward of Rs. one lakh has been declared for his arrest. Mobile handset with SIM card used for drug trafficking activities has been recovered. Development of Information Special Cell in its crusade against drug suppliers had busted several national/inter-national narcotic drug cartels in this year by arresting several notorious members of these drug cartels and by recovering huge consignments of high grade heroin.

CASE OF KIDNAPPING OF P.S. KANJHAWALA IN OUTER DISTRICT HAS BEEN WORKED OUT WITH RESCUE OF A MINOR AND ARREST OF TWO ACCUSED. With the arrest of two accused persons and rescue of one kidnapped girl,  after an extensive search operation conducted in Dera Bassi, Punjab, the Outer District Police has worked out a case of kidnapping of Police Station - Kanjhawala registered u/s 363 IPC, dt.14/06/2018. INCIDENT: On 14/06/2018, on the complaint of one woman R/o Delhi, aged 40 years, a case of kidnapping vide FIR No.191/18, u/s 363 IPC was registered in PS Kanjhawala stating therein that one Sanjit, had kidnapped her daughters, aged 14 years and aged 16 years at 4.00 AM. Accordingly, without wasting time, a team was constituted to conduct an extensive search of the girls as well as accused Sanjit Ram in the locality. On the occasion of the 4th International Yoga Day, the Delhi Police organised an integrated Yoga Event at Thyagraj Stadium wherein around 2000 police personnel from various districts and units participated. Sh Amulya Patnaik, IPS, Commissioner of Police, Delhi along with senior officers  attended the yoga session. Besides this, Yoga sessions were also organized in all the Districts & Units of Delhi Police. The Commissioner of Police, Delhi underlined the importance of Yoga in day-to-day police working  as it helps in controlling the mind to serve society in a better way. Yoga is a vital part of police curriculum to remain active, fit and healthy.

SUMMER CAMP 2018/PFWS

In a break from the past Police Families Welfare Society (PFWS) organized Summer Camps at 10 adopted police colonies namely Civil Lines, Sarai Rohilla, Ashok Vihar, Rohini Sec. 11, Paschim Vihar, Tilak Nagar, Andrewj Ganj, Model Town, Pocket B-4 Narela, Kaushambi and Mehram Nagar for the first time apart from 10 welfare centers for a better outreach of programme. These camps were organized for a duration of 3 weeks. During these Summer Camps, a wide range of activities had been organized for different target groups.  Different activities and time-slots were allotted at Centers as per there interest and predilection identified through a systematic survey in these colonies.  Prominent trainers/experts were resourced through voluntary participation who had agreed to extend their specialized services during the Camp to train the families of police personnel. With the arrest of accused, whole stolen amount was recovered from water tank of the hospital. Incident On 19/06/2018, a PCR call regarding theft at Vimhans Hospital was received at police station Lajpat Nagar. Delhi Police of Metro Unit has arrested the accused person namely Mohd.Salman R/o JJ colony Bawana Delhi, Age-23 yrs. for the offence committed in Metro vide E- FIR No. 41/18, dated 07/06/2018, U/s 420/379/411/34 IPC of Police Station-Azadpur Metro, Delhi.   INCIDENT & INVESTIGATION The incident had occurred on 06/06/2018, when the complainant was boarding metro train at Azadpur metro station. Closing Ceremony of the Road Safety Awareness Summer Camp – 2018

The closing function of the Road Safety Awareness Summer Camp-2018 was held today at Traffic Training Park, Baba Kharak Singh Marg. Sh. Amulya Patnaik, Commissioner of Police, Delhi, was the Chief Guest at this occasion. The objective behind organizing the summer camp was to inculcate good road safety habits and also improve the awareness of participating students in various important aspects pertaining to life which would prove to be helpful in the overall development of their personality. The summer camps were organized at four venues i.e. Baba Kharak Singh Marg, Roshnara Road, Punjabi Bagh & Bal Bhawan from 21 st  May to 15 th  June 2018. Around 2600 students from various schools of Delhi participated in the summer camps. ONE DRUG DEALER ARRESTED WHILE TRYING TO OVERRUN AN IPS (P) OFFICER AND CONSTABLE AT CROSS RIVER MALL

134 GRAMS OF FINE QUALITY CHARAS SEIZED . INCIDENT:- On the intervening night of June 06 & 07, 2018, Sh. Harsh Indora, IPS(P) was deployed as night GOs checking officer in Shahdara District. During the Patrolling as night GO at around 01:00 AM, he noticed that a Toyota Corolla Altis car no. DL 3C BD 2793 was parked on the side of the road in suspicious condition near Crossriver Mall, Anand Vihar. The gypsy of Night GO was parked in front of the suspicious car to prevent it from fleeing away and police staff including IPS probationer, operator and driver got down to check the vehicle and driver. The driver was asked to get down from the car to which he complied but when he was asked to open boot of his car he started acting suspicious.
