FAKE CALL CENTRE DUPING PERSONS BY OBTAINING OTP FROM THEM BUSTED. 7 PERSONS ARRESTED.

60 ACTIVATED SIMS, 20 WALKIE TALKIE AND 11 MOBILE PHONES RECOVERED. With the arrest of 7 persons, local police have busted a gang that cheated gullible people by contacting them on mobile phones, indeed to obtain OTP message and then got various amounts transferred to their accounts. The gang was running call centre at Sagar Pur, South West Delhi. The gang used to operate by using mobile SIMs obtained on fake I.D. papers. BRIEF FACTS: On 18/11/17, on the basis of a secret information that a person will come at G.T. Road near SBI Bank to sell SIMs issued on fake IDs ,a team of local police of PS M.S. Park comprising of SI Arvind Kumar, H.C. Deepender, Ct. Rajiv laid a trap near SBI Bank at G.T. Road. At about 2.30 PM, a person identified as Sanjay Chadda was nabbed on a scooty near SBI Bank. 28 SIMs activated on fake IDs of Idea Company were recovered from his possession. On verification of sims, it was found that all SIMs are activated and issued on fake addresses.  Case
