“STF OF CRIME BRANCH CHASED AND ARRESTED MURDER CASE ACCUSED/PROCLAIMED OFFENDER/HISTORY SHEETER CARRYING A REWARD OF RS. 25000/-FROM RAJASTHAN”
  1. INTRODUCTION:-
           In continuation of earlier Press Release dated 21/11/17, the team of STF, Crime Branch Sunlight Colony which has been trailing the wanted/ rewarded accused namely Kundu Swami, R/o. JJ Colony, Wazirpur, Delhi age 53 Years, carrying a reward of Rs 25000/- and who was a Proclaimed offender, “wanted in a heinous murder case FIR No 326/16, dated 08.07.2016 u/s 302/307/452/147/148/149/34/174A IPC, PS Bharat Nagar, Distt. North West, Delhi” and in case FIR No 327/16 dated 08.07.16 u/s 33 Delhi Excise Act, PS Bharat Nagar has been arrested from Savai Madhopur, Rajasthan on 22/11/17 at about 00.15 hrs.

  1. INFORMATION, OPERATION  AND ARREST:-
         A team of officers of Crime Branch was constituted under the close supervision of DCP, Crime Branch, Dr. G. Ramgopal Naik led by Sh. Pankaj Singh ACP STF Crime Branch and comprising of Insp Jatan Singh, SI Sunil Kumar, HC Rohit Solanki, HC Virender Baliyan, HC Sanjiv Tomar, Ct. Ravinder, Ct. Ramavtar and Ct. Ashish and the team was put on trailing the rewarded criminal named Kudu Swami.
             The team put all the available leads and movements of accused together and made several raids at different places. On 21.11.2017, the team received some positive information regarding the whereabouts of the above mentioned accused persons and arrested accused Narayan @ Krishna from Nala Pusta Road, Near Bhalaswa Landfill, GT Karnal Road By Pass. After interrogating the accused Narayan @ Krishna, and with the help of informer, specific information was received regarding the whereabouts of main perpetrator Kanduswamy in Sawai Madhopur (Rajasthan). The team was rushed to Sawai Madhopur and he was spotted near the railway station of Sawai Madhopur with the help of informer. After seeing the police party, he got suspicious and started running away. The police team chased him and arrested the accused Kundu Swami R/o. JJ Colony, Wazirpur, Delhi u/s 41.1 A Cr.P.C. as per the law and procedure.   On preliminary interrogation, the arrested accused revealed that he ran away with his son just after that incident. When police reached at their house to search and arrest them after the incident, illicit liquor was also found in his house and a separate case vide FIR No 327/16, u/s 33 Delhi Excise Act was also registered against him.  They both have been hiding since then in different parts of UP, Haryana, Rajasthan and Punjab. They started dealing in cattle trading in UP, Haryana, Rajasthan and Punjab. They did not stay at any one place but kept on changing their location.
  1. PROFILE OF THE ACCUSED  KUNDU SWAMI :-
The accused Kunduswamy, studied upto 5th class and as his father was already involved in illegal activities, he also started indulging in illegal activities mainly smuggling of illicit liquor, etc. He was first arrested in case FIR No 329/85, u/s 324 IPC PS Ashok Vihar and after that he got involved in many more cases and was made a History Sheeter in PS Ashok Vihar.

Sagar @ Punter a sharp shooter of Naveen Khati Gang arrested

Two sophisticated pistols alongwith 9 cartridges recovered. A reward of Rs 50,000/- was declared by Delhi Police for his arrest. A team of Special Cell, Northern Range, led by Insp. Sanjay Nagpal, Inspr. Prabhat Kumar & Insp. Pankaj Kumar under the supervision of Shri Pankaj Sood, ACP has arrested sharp shooter of notorious and desperate gangster Naveen @ Khati namely  Sagar @ Punter, alongwith his associate Ravi @ Cheeru. Two pistols alongwith 9 cartridges were recovered from their possession.  A Bullet Motor-Cycle used by gangster has also been seized.
