REWARDED INTERSTATE ARMS SUPPLIER ARRESTED BY SPECIAL CELL

  • TOTAL 37 AUTOMATIC PISTOLS, 100 CARTRIDGES OF 7.65/.32 BORE AND 9 SPARE MAGAZINES RECOVERED FROM THIS GANG SO FAR.
A team of Special Cell, led by Insp. Sanjay Gupta and Insp. Rajesh Kumar under the close supervision of ACP Govind Sharma has arrested one notorious arms suppliers Salman, Age 26 yrs S/o Mohd. Shakeel R/o House No. 39, Inside Orcha Gate, Jhansi (UP) and recovered 20 sophisticated illegal pistols along with 100 cartridges of 7.65/.32 bore. Arrested accused Salman was also carrying a cash reward of Rs. 1 Lac for his arrest by CP, Delhi.

Information
Information was being received that several gangs are indulging in supply of illegal weapons to the criminals of Delhi NCR and surrounding. This information has also found support from the recovery of sophisticated illegal fire arms and ammunations from the notorious criminals/gangsters arrested in recent past in Delhi/NCR. In order to cut this supply of illegal fire arms a special drive has been launched by Special Cell against arms traffickers. In this drive, Special Cell has succeeded in busting several interstate arms syndicates and recovered more than 650 pistols & revolvers, one carbine, 4 modified carbines, 20 country made guns, 6,500 cartridges in the recent past. These weapons are primarily being procured from the arms manufacturers based in Dhar, Burhanpur & Khargone districts of MP and Munger district of Bihar. From the interrogation of arrested criminal and sources, it had been revealed that these gangs are supplying illegal fire arms and ammunitions to the criminals active in Delhi/NCR and surrounding areas.
Operation
The information was further developed and sources were deployed. The strenuous & untiring efforts paid the result when two arms supplier namely Kailash, Age 35 years S/o Lt. Maal Singh R/o Vill. Dat Pahadi, PS Khaknar Distt. Burhanpur Pur, MP and Madhav Rawal, Age 25 yrs S/o Dhayan Singh r/o VPO Gangwani, Distt. Dhar, MP were arrested and 17 illegal sophisticated pistols along with 9 spare magazines were recovered from them. Both were part of a crime syndicate involved in supplying various types of sophisticated fire arms in Delhi/NCR. Two cases vide FIR no. 65/2017 & 66/2017 U/s 25 Arms Act were registered at PS Special Cell, Delhi in this regard. On sustained interrogation, accused persons disclosed that they have frequently visited in the areas of Delhi & NCR to supply illegal fire arms to the criminals. They entered into this profession from their early adulthood. During sustained interrogation of Kailash and Madhav, it was disclosed by them that Salman is major supplier of Arms and Ammunitions to the criminals of Delhi, NCR, Agra, Jhansi, Orai, Jalon, Dhaulpur etc. CP Delhi had declared a cash reward of Rs. One lakh on the arrest of Salman.

A team comprising of SI Rohit, SI Manish, SI Amrik Singh, ASI Ashok, ASI Saneev, ASI Rajeev, ASI Jaipal, HC Sandeep, HC Rajesh, Ct. Manesh, Ct. Devender, Ct. Sunil Rathee and others was formed to act on the information. Information regarding Salman was developed and on 09/11/2017 Salman was arrested from Jhansi (UP). 20 sophisticated pistols and 100 cartridges have been recovered from him.


On interrogation, he has disclosed that after leaving studies joined the gang of arms supplier He has been purchasing sophisticated fire arms and ammunitions from Khargone and Dhar based Arms manufacturer through agents. Gradually, he has become a leading distributor of this illicit trafficking of such deadly weapons. For last 3 years he has started his own interstate gang and is supplying arms and ammunitions to the criminals at a cost of Rs. 15/20 thousand. In this trafficking of fire-arms, he has been assisted by number of peoples like Kailash, Madhav, Anil, Jeetu etc.

His previous involvement are being verified.
Recovery from accused Salman:
  1. 20 Sophisticated Semi-automatic pistols.
  2. 100 cartridges of 7.65/.32 bore.

Total recovery from gang:

  1. 37 Sophisticated Semi-automatic pistols.
  2. 100 cartridges of 7.65/.32 bore.
  3. 9 spare Magazines.

Sagar @ Punter a sharp shooter of Naveen Khati Gang arrested

Two sophisticated pistols alongwith 9 cartridges recovered. A reward of Rs 50,000/- was declared by Delhi Police for his arrest. A team of Special Cell, Northern Range, led by Insp. Sanjay Nagpal, Inspr. Prabhat Kumar & Insp. Pankaj Kumar under the supervision of Shri Pankaj Sood, ACP has arrested sharp shooter of notorious and desperate gangster Naveen @ Khati namely  Sagar @ Punter, alongwith his associate Ravi @ Cheeru. Two pistols alongwith 9 cartridges were recovered from their possession.  A Bullet Motor-Cycle used by gangster has also been seized.
