BURGALRY CASE SOLVED WITH THE HELP OF CCTV FOOTAGE WITHIN EIGHT DAYS

• ONE BURGLAR AND HIS ASSOCIATE WHO ASSISTED THE ACCUSED IN CONSEALING THE STOLEN PROPERTY HAS BEEN ARRESTED AND RECOVERED CASH RUPEES EIGHT LACS, TWELVE THOUSANDS AND FIVE HUNDREDS.

INCIDENT  

              On 11.11.17, an incident of burglary by breaking the grills occurred at a house Model Town-II, Delhi. Accordingly, a case vide FIR No. 503/17 dated 11.11.17 u/s 457/380 IPC was registered at P.S. Model Town and investigated.

INTERROGATION

             During the interrogation accused Shivam, disclosed that after the death of his father in 2010, he had started a welding job at Haider Pur. After few months the employer Babu Khan had also been died. I became jobless and wanderer. Then, being jobless he fell down in the bad society to earn bread for his family and also become the drug addict. On 11.11.17, he had targeted a house in Model Town II for burglary and got accessed into the house through window by breaking its grill with the help of a rod possessed by him. He had stolen the money Rs. 11,50,000/- from a Steel safe placed in a room and he had handed over the same money as whole to his friend Rahul, r/o Jahangir Puri, Delhi to keep it with him for further disposal between them.    

TEAM

 During the course of investigation a team consisting of SI Jitender Kumar, ASI Bhanu Pratap, HC Jitender Kumar, Constable Suresh Kumar from P.S. Model Town and Constable Jang Bahadur from  P.S. Adarsh Nagar under the leadership of Inspr. Satish Kumar, SHO/Model Town and Inspr. Anil Kumar Malik, SHO/Adrash Nagar under the close supervision of Sh. Hukma Ram, ACP/Model Town, was constituted. Constable Jang Bahadur has received the information from his sources that Shivam r/o Jahangir Puri, Delhi had committed this burglary. Accordingly, accused Shivam has been apprehended in a raid conducted in his search within eight days.     

PROFILE OF ACCUSED

             Accused Shivam, is a resident of Jahangir Puri, Delhi. His father had already been expired in 2010, who was a cycle rikshaw puller. His mother is bread earner for her family. She is doing a private job in industrial area. Accused Shivam not had any schooling and after the death of his father, he fell down in bad society and indulged in criminal activities. He became a drug addict.

            Accused Rahul, age 21 years r/o Jahangir Puri, Delhi and studied up to 12th standard. He also belongs to a poor family. His father is a plumber. After dropping out of the school, he worked as a salesman at a cloth shop in the area of Rani Bagh, Delhi. He also associated with some bad elements of Jahangir Puri area he and became a drug addict. He came in contact with Shivam being resident of Jahangir Puri and drug addiction. On 11.11.17, Shivam had stolen Rs. 11,50,000/- from a house and the same money was handed over to him by Shivam to conceal the same for further disposal.

MODUS OPERENDI:

         Accused Shivam got access into the house through window by breaking the grills. After entering the house he had locked the house from inside and stolen the money from Steel safe by breaking its lock with the help of a screw driver.

RECOVERY:

Cash Rs. 8,12,500/-.
