GANG OF DESPERATE ROBBERS/SNATCHERS BUSTED

*   7 CASES OF ROBBERY/SNATCHING WORKED OUT.
*   6 MOBILE PHONES & 01 TOY PISTOL RECOVERED.
Team of Special Staff/West District has busted a gang of desperate robbers/snatchers, with the following arrests. Six robbed/snatched mobile phones & one toy pistol have been recovered and seven cases have been worked out.

PROFILE : Gautam Kumar s/o Vijay Kumar r/o Rajeev Nagar, Begam Pur Delhi. Age 22 Yrs. He studied upto 12th standard. He is working as driver on casual basis and is addicted to marijuana and alcohol.
                                         
  1. Siril @ Aman  s/o Wilson r/o Vijay Vihar Delhi. Age 19 Yrs. He studied upto 8th standard. He is unemployed and is addicted to Marijuana  & Alcohol.
                           
  1. Jitender Singh @ Michael s/o Jai Singh r/o Rajeev Nagar, Begam Pur, Delhi. Age 18 Yrs 3 Month. He studied upto 8th standard. He is working as part time labourer. He is also addicted to Marijuana  & Alcohol.

  5. FIR No 903/16,  u/s 356/379/34 IPC, PS Vijay Vihar Delhi.
  6. FIR No 559/16,  u/s 392/34 IPC, PS Sultan Puri Delhi.
  DETAILS OF TEAM : On  secret information of ASI Bhawnesh Kumar, a team of Special Staff, under the supervision of Sh. Dinesh Tiwari-ACP Operation Cell/West District was constituted. The team apprehended the above accused from Peera Garhi area, following a further developed tip off.

INTERROGATION: on sustained interrogation, the arrested accused revealed that they were not good in study and are school dropouts. They met in Begampur area, Delhi about six months ago. They befriended with the passage of time. Gautam is gang leader. He has FZ Yamaha Motor Cycle. He bought it  but was not able to pay EMIs regularly. Other two were also in need of money due to drug addiction. They developed an idea to make easy and big money from committing robbery and snatching.   They made efforts to procure a country made weapon but since it was costly so they planned to purchase a toy gun which genuinely resembled to original one. They used to stop the TSR/ E-rickshaw of the victims on gun point during late hours. They used to beat and rob the victim of his belongings and cash. They are very desperate and aggressive. One of them, used to keep the victim on the gun point of the toy pistol till the time the victim is not thoroughly searched by them. They did not hesitate to beat the victim mercilessly if anyone retaliated. After that they used to make the victim to turn his face on the other side and they run away on their motorcycle. Further investigation is underway.  Concerned police stations have been informed. The staff involved in good work, viz.  Insp Surender Singh Rathee, SI Charan Singh, ASI Ishwar Singh, HC Shashi Kant, HC Vijender, Ct Satyanarayan, Ct Amarjeet and Ct Vikrant  are being rewarded suitably.

Sagar @ Punter a sharp shooter of Naveen Khati Gang arrested

Two sophisticated pistols alongwith 9 cartridges recovered. A reward of Rs 50,000/- was declared by Delhi Police for his arrest. A team of Special Cell, Northern Range, led by Insp. Sanjay Nagpal, Inspr. Prabhat Kumar & Insp. Pankaj Kumar under the supervision of Shri Pankaj Sood, ACP has arrested sharp shooter of notorious and desperate gangster Naveen @ Khati namely  Sagar @ Punter, alongwith his associate Ravi @ Cheeru. Two pistols alongwith 9 cartridges were recovered from their possession.  A Bullet Motor-Cycle used by gangster has also been seized. A reward of Rs 50,000/- was declared by Delhi Police for his arrest. There is a long history of gang war in Najafgarh and adjoining areas. Naveen @ Khati gang is a desperate gang having rivalry with Manjeet Mahal/ Ravinder @ Bholu gang. They are splinter group of Anoop/Balraj gang which had rivalry with Krishan Pehlwan gang. HE ALLEGEDELY OPERATED INSIDE THE JAIL CARRYING REWARD OF Rs. 20,000/- District Anti Robbery Cell, NWD has nabbed a desperate extortionist namely Harsimran @ Badal @ Simran s/o Harvinder Singh r/o BK-1/103-A, East Shalimar Bagh, Delhi, who is gang leader of Harsimran @ Badal Gang and carrying reward of Rs. 20000/-. He is a dreaded criminal of PS Shalimar Bagh and is involved in total 15 cases including two murders at PS Burari & Mandir Marg. He was wanted in many cases of Extortion etc. With his arrest four cases of Extortion and Arms Act of North West Distt have been worked out.
