ORGANIZED HUMAN TRAFFICKING RACKET BUSTED

  • 4 TRAFFICKERS ARRESTED.
  • 3 GIRLS RESCUED.
  • 1 LAPTOP AND 10 PASSPOSTS HAVE BEEN RECOVERD.
INTRODUCTION: - Crime Branch has busted an organized human trafficking racket and arrested four persons namely (i) John Khadka (46 yrs) s/o Karan Khadka r/o Village Panchkanya, Distt. Sunsari, Ward No.23, Nepal, presently residing on rent at RZ-346, Gali No.2, Main Sagar Pur, Delhi, (ii). Purnima (27 yrs) d/o Ram Bahadur Adhikari r/o Village Gandki, Anchal Tahannu, Distt. Kalasti, Ward No.6, Nepal, (iii) Nira (39 yrs) w/o John Khadka r/o Village Panchkanya, Distt. Sunsari, Ward No.23, Nepal, and (iv) Harish @ Fauji (30 yrs) s/o Daulat Singh r/o Village Gaidalinaur, Patti Charan Dev, Tehsil Didihat, Distt. Pithorgarh, Uttarakhand for operating organized gang indulged in trafficking of girls and boys from Nepal to Delhi on the pretext of sending them to foreign country.
BACKGROUND: - On 01.10.2016, a member of All India Nepalese Unity Forum, NGO,   namely Sh. Ram Khadka visited office of Assistant Commissioner of Police, Anti Human Trafficking Unit, Sector-16, Rohini, Delhi and complained that three trafficked girls came to his office after running away from the custody of traffickers namely John Khadka and others, and legal action be taken against the traffickers criminals.
On enquiry, victims conveyed that one Tirath Raj, resident of Kathmandu, Nepal allured the young girls and boys to send them to New Zealand and other foreign countries on work visa. The victims were called for interview in different hotel of Kathmandu. He obtained Rs.8 to 10 lac from each victim and asked to contact John Khadka in Delhi for visa and other formalities for sending them to foreign country from Delhi. John Khadka kept them as hostages in his house at RZ-346, Gali No.2, Main Sagar Pur, Delhi and kept their passports and other documents on the pretext of visa formalities. John Khadka molested the girls in the night and tried to indulge them in sex racket. If any girl objected, Nira and Fauji threatened them of dire consequences and beat them mercilessly. A case vide FIR No.167/16 dated 01.10.2016 u/s 370/354-B/342/506/120B/34 IPC was registered at PS Crime Branch in this regard.
TEAM AND OPERATION: -
A dedicated team under the leadership of ACP Sweta Chauhan comprising of Inspr. Joginder Singh, SI Vishal, ASIs Satyawan, Ramdev, HCs Jaivir,  Gajender, Rajesh, Ct. Pawan,  L/Ct. Jyoti and Sh. Ram Khankha, member of said NGO was constituted under overall supervision of DCP Dr. Ramgopal Naik and under overall guidance of Addl.CP K.K. Vyas to take legal action.
On the basis of information about trafficker John Khadka, the said team reached at RZ-346, Gali No.2, Main Sagar Pur, Delhi where three persons namely (i)John Khadka, (ii) Harish @ Himanshu @ Fauji and (iii) Nira w/o John Khadka were found available.
Enquiry from the above said persons was conducted and during enquiry, they confessed about their involvement in the trafficking of victim girls . They further disclosed that all of them hatched a conspiracy with Tirath Raj and Purnima (all residents of Nepal) to earn money on the pretext of sending people to foreign countries. Tirath Raj, resident of Kathmandu, Nepal, allures young girls and boys to send them to New Zealand and other foreign countries on work visa and calls the victims for interview in different hotel of Kathmandu. He obtained Rs.8 to 10 lac from one victim and sent the victim to John Khadka at Delhi with passport and other documents for visa purpose.
Tirath Raj also sent Rs.4/5 lac to John Khadka. John Khadka further gave Rs.3/4 lac alongwith passport and documents to Purnima for visa proceedings. He also accepted the allegations of molestation, confinement and trafficking of girls and boys with the help of Tirath Raj, Purnima, Nira and Harish @ Fauji and others.  
At the instance of John Khadka, Purnima was apprehended from H.No.19, 1st Floor, Sarai Jullena, Delhi and 3 passports were recovered from her possession.      
The Crime Branch of Delhi Police has arrested four persons (John, Purnima, Nira and Harish @ Fauji) for operating organized gang indulged in trafficking of girls and boys from Nepal to Delhi on the pretext of sending them to foreign countries.
RECOVERY: -

  1. 6 Nepalese passports from John Khadka.
  2. 1 laptop containing scan copy of passport and other documents of complainant and other witnesses and other persons from John Khadka.
  3. 4 Nepalese passports from Purnima.

Sagar @ Punter a sharp shooter of Naveen Khati Gang arrested

Two sophisticated pistols alongwith 9 cartridges recovered. A reward of Rs 50,000/- was declared by Delhi Police for his arrest. A team of Special Cell, Northern Range, led by Insp.
