On Martyrs Day, South District Police paid homage to late Inspr. Sh. Mohan Chand Sharma

Programme was organized in the same school he studied
 

On the occasion of Martyrs Day, South District Police organized a programme in remembrance of late Inspector Sh. Mohan Chand Sharma who laid his life in Batla House encounter on 13.09.08 while trying to catch the terrorists of Indian Mujahideen who were hiding in Batla House, Jamia Nagar, New Delhi.  The programme was organized in Govt. Boys Senior Secondary School No. 3, Sarojini Nagar where late Inspector Sh. Mohan Chand Sharma had studied from 6th standard to 12th standard.  The programme was attended by all the students and teachers of the school.  The family members of late Inspector Sh. Mohan Chand Sharma including his mother Smt. Devendri Devi, wife Smt. Maya Sharma and daughter Ms. Himani Sharma were also invited and honoured by the officials of South District Police.


The officers from Special Cell, Delhi Police had prepared a documentary depicting the vast details of achievements of late Inspector Sh. Mohan Chand Sharma which he earned while working in Delhi Police and Special Cell.  The students also presented a play during the programme.
