SENSATIONAL & BLIND ATTEMPT TO MURDER CASE SOLVED BY THE SPECIAL STAFF

  • SENSATIONAL & BLIND ATTEMPT TO MURDER CASE OF PS NAJAFGARH SOLVED. 
  • TWO ACCUSED PERSONS ARRESTED, INCLUDING KINGPIN GAJENDER @ TEENU, A BC OF PS BHD NAGAR.
  • ACCUSED ARE DRUG ADDICTS & ATTEMPTED TO ROB VICTIM.
  • ACCUSED ARE ALSO INVOLVED IN SEVERAL CASES OF  CHAIN SNATCHING.

     A team of police officials of Special Staff of South West led by Inspector Ramesh Kumar and comprising SI Naveen Kumar,  ASI Vinay Vats, ASI Mahaveer, HC Hans, HC Jaiveer Singh,  Ct. Ashwani, Ct Sandeep,  Ct Praveen & Ct Vipin , under the close supervision of ACP Rajender Singh, arrested accused Jitender @ Jeetu @ Punjabi and Gajender @ Teenu who had fired upon and seriously injured victim Balwan Singh in FIR No. 389/16  U/S 307 IPC & 25/27 Arms Act dated 30.09.16 PS Najafgarh.  

Incident:

    On 29.09.16 at about 10:00 PM, a PCR call was received at PS Najafgarh regarding firing incident near Reliance Fresh Main Najafgarh-Chhawla road. Local police reached at spot and found victim Sh Balwan Singh  had been shot at by unknown persons in his own Provision Store. The victim had been taken to hospital and his statement was recorded. The victim stated that two young boys had entered his shop and held him on gunpoint. As he tried to escape, he was shot by the criminals.    A case vide FIR No. 389/16  U/S 307 IPC & 25/27 Arms Act dated 30.09.16 PS Najafgarh was registered regarding the incident.

Team and Operation:

   Taking note of firing incident in public view, which caused panic and outrage in area, Special  Staff/SWD was tasked to arrest the accused of this blind case and  a dedicated team was formed. Accordingly the team worked relentlessly on several leads and developed the clue that robbers of the area may be behind the incident.  The team also verified many criminals who were released from jail recently.  The verification revealed that BC of PS BHD Nagar,  Gajender @ Teenu, involved in many cases of robbery and snatchings, was released from the jail recently. The team trailed him for his activities. On 25.10.16, a secret information was received that Gajender @ Teenu will come with his associate Jitender @ Jeetu @ Punjabi on a stolen motorcycle near Metro Depot, Ranaji Enclave, Najafgarh. The team laid the trap and arrested both the accused on  motorcycle No. DL 4SCM 2481- Apache RTR which has been found stolen from the area of PS Dwarka North.  Sustained interrogation of the accused persons revealed that both accused had attempted to rob victim Balwan singh alongwith their two associates but shot him when he resisted. Accused have also confessed their involvement in 7 cases of chain snatchings of PS Najafgarh and have been arrested vide DD No. 16  U/S 41.1(d) CrPC dated 25.10.16 Special Staff/SWD. Efforts are being made to arrest the co-accused persons.

Accused Arrested:

  • Gajender @ Teenu S/O Satbir R/O Vill- Rohad, Distt- Jhajjar (Haryana),   Age-23 Years. (Previously involved in 19 cases)

  • Jitender @ Jeetu @ Punjabi S/O Girdhari Lal R/O RZ- 1655, A/3 Haibatpura Najafgarh, Age- 24 Yrs  (Previously involved in 1 robbery case)

Interrogation:

     Interrogation of accused Gajender @ Teenu revealed that he is resident of Dichau Village (Najafgarh) and is 10th pass from open school. Due to bad company he started taking drugs at early age and became habitual of SMACK. To pay for his bad habits he started indulging in criminal activities like snatchings/robberies/auto thefts. He was first arrested in 2010 and is a BC of PS BHD Nagar. He was found involved in 19 previous cases and was released from jail on 19.09.16.  Immediately after his release he committed several chain snatchings/robberies with his associates.
    Accused Jitender @ Jeetu @ Punjabi was also interrogated at length and he revealed that he is 9th pass and started taking drugs at early age. He is so desperate drug addict that he can commit any offence to arrange money for his drugs. He started indulging in criminal activities like snatchings/robberies/auto thefts. He was first arrested in 2015 in a case of robbery of  PS BHD Nagar.

Sagar @ Punter a sharp shooter of Naveen Khati Gang arrested

Two sophisticated pistols alongwith 9 cartridges recovered. A reward of Rs 50,000/- was declared by Delhi Police for his arrest. A team of Special Cell, Northern Range, led by Insp. Sanjay Nagpal, Inspr. Prabhat Kumar & Insp. Pankaj Kumar under the supervision of Shri Pankaj Sood, ACP has arrested sharp shooter of notorious and desperate gangster Naveen @ Khati namely  Sagar @ Punter, alongwith his associate Ravi @ Cheeru. Two pistols alongwith 9 cartridges were recovered from their possession.  A Bullet Motor-Cycle used by gangster has also been seized.
