Murder case of dreaded gangster of Gaurav Jharera Gang solved by Crime Branch

  • Gangster brutally murdered by his associates.
  • Body was dumped on railway track after mutilating his face.
  • Both accused arrested.   
INTRODUCTION
Crime Branch has solved the sensational murder case of dreaded gangster Rohit of Delhi Cantt. Area, a member of Gaurav Jharera gang, and arrested two accused persons. The accused persons have been identified as (1) Karan @ Twnkle @ Hukum singh s/o Ravi Verma r/o C.N. 983, Jhuggi Sanjay Camp, Chanakya Puri, Delhi & (2) Kalu @ Ajay Rajput s/o Satbir Rajput r/o J-158/46, Taal Jhuggi, Sadar Bazar, Delhi Cantt.

INFORMATION, TEAM & OPERATION
On 28.04.2017, ASI Vikrant posted in SWR, Crime Branch, Dwarka received a secret information that two persons, previously involved in several theft cases would come near I.P. University on a stolen motorcycle. This information was further developed and a team of Crime Branch led by ACP Jasbir Singh and consisting of Insp. Anil Kumar, SI Arvind Kumar, ASIs Vikrant, Shreeom, Kuldeep, HCs Rajeev, Ram Kumar, Const. Mukesh and Ct./Dvr. Sanjiv Kumar was constituted to nab the criminal. The team laid a trap and apprehended both the accused persons namely Karan @ Twinkle @ Hukum singh & Kalu @ Ajay Rajput, alongwith a motorcycle stolen from the area of P.S.Rajouri Upon sustained interrogation, the accused Karan @ Twinkle @ Hukam Singh confessed that he alongwith his associate Ajay stole the Motorcycle from Rajouri Garden area. They were using fake number plate on the motorcycle and were using the same for commiting snatching.  
INTERROGATION & DISCLOSURE
On sustained interrogation, the accused Karan @ Twinkle disclosed that he is residing in the Sanjay Camp Jhuggi, Chanakya Puri, Delhi and working as a labour. Previously he was involved in more than 40 cases of snatching & theft and has been arrested on numerous occassions. Four years ago, when he got married he looked the other way and started working as a labour to earn his livelihood. In 2013, he met one Ajay who was working as a labour in Delhi Cantt area. After the birth of his child, it became difficult for him to sustain his life with meager earnings. Meanwhile, he came in touch with Rohit, a dreaded criminal of Gaurav Jharera Gang, from whom he sought help to mend his financial condition. Initially Rohit kept him as a personal servant. After few days, Rohit lured him in to committing snatching and theft to raise his earnings and asked him to find an associate to help him out. He asked his friend Ajay to join him and they both started to commit crime for Rohit.
On 23/04/17, evening Rohit called both of them near Moti Bagh and thereafter, all three of them went to the Jhuggi of Karan, where Rohit gave one Knife to Karan and a khukri to Ajay and asked them to kill his enemy Sanju. On this, Karan said that he will do it only after celebrating the birthday of his son on Wednesday. Hearing this, Rohit got furious and started to beat Karan. in retaliation, Karan who was holding the knife given by Rohit, attacked him with it and gave him multiple stab wounds. Ajay also joined Karan and stabbed Rohit with the Khukri, that Rohit had given him. Rohit eventually succumbed to the stab injuries. On this, Karan and Ajay took his dead body to the nearby railway track and there they mutilated his face with knife and Khukri and removed his t-shirt and threw his deadbody on Railway track.      
The concerned authorities have been informed regarding the arrest of the accused persons and to re-open the investigation of the case.

  1. FIR No. 0031/2017, dated 27.04.2017, u/s 302 IPC, PS Delhi Cantt Railway Station.
  2. FIR No. 00692/2017, dated 04.03.17 u/s 379 IPC, PS Rajouri Garden.
  3. Two cases of snatching of PS Delhi Cantt yet to be verified.

Recovery:-
  • One stolen motorcycle.

Sagar @ Punter a sharp shooter of Naveen Khati Gang arrested

Two sophisticated pistols alongwith 9 cartridges recovered. A reward of Rs 50,000/- was declared by Delhi Police for his arrest. A team of Special Cell, Northern Range, led by Insp. Sanjay Nagpal, Inspr. Prabhat Kumar & Insp. Pankaj Kumar under the supervision of Shri Pankaj Sood, ACP has arrested sharp shooter of notorious and desperate gangster Naveen @ Khati namely  Sagar @ Punter, alongwith his associate Ravi @ Cheeru. Two pistols alongwith 9 cartridges were recovered from their possession.  A Bullet Motor-Cycle used by gangster has also been seized.
