SIX JUVENILES APPREHENDED

THEY COULD NOT SELL STOLEN VEHICLES DUE TO HEAVY CHECKING AND PATROLLING IN DELHI.

TOTAL 14 STOLEN VEHICLES(09 SCOOTY AND 05 MOTORCYLES) RECOVERED.

    The staff of PS Tilak Nagar, West District has apprehended 06 Juveniles and recovered  fourteen stolen two-wheelers (09 Scooties and 05 motorcycles) at their instance. Total 14 cases of Auto thefts  have been worked out.

 INFORMATION, TEAM AND APPREHENSION : -  

On 24.05.17, a specific information was received at PS Tilak Nagar that some juveniles suspected to be involved in two wheeler thefts were spotted near Krishna Park. Immediately, a team comprising of SI Santosh Kumar, ASI Rajesh Sharma, ASI Sunil, ASI Brahmanand, HC Satyawrat, HC Sumer, HC Adesh, HC Baljeet, Ct. Himmat, Ct. Deepchand, Ct. Ravinder and Ct. Shamsher led by Inspr. Shiv Kumar, SHO/Tilak Nagar under overall supervision of Shri Aalap Patel, ACP/Tilak Nagar was constituted to act swiftly.  Accordingly, the team strategically laid a trap near Krishna Park and started vehicle checking near Krishna Park picket, Tilak Nagar.   At about 7:30 PM, two Scooties were seen coming from Kabli Chowk side.  They were signaled to stop but instead of stopping they accelerated and tried to escape by taking U-turn.  However, the alert team made sincere efforts and succeeded to nab them.  They were asked to produce the documents of scooties but they failed to produce the documents.  On enquiry both the Scooties found stolen from Fateh Nagar and Krishna Puri area.  They were apprehended .

Both the JCLs told their involvements in other scooty/motorcycles thefts alongwith other JCLs. Further, raids were conducted by the team and at the instances of both juveniles 03 other Scooties and 04 other juveniles were also apprehended. On further interrogation, nine (09) other motorcycles/scoooties stolen from various Police Stations have also been recovered. They further disclosed that they could not sell these vehicles due to heavy checking and patrolling in Delhi.
