INTER-STATE ILLEGAL GUN TRADING RACKET BUSTED

·         SUPPLIER OF ILLEGAL ARMS ARRESTED
·         17 PISTOLS OF 7.65 MM RECOVERED.

     A team of Special Cell led by Inspr. Satendra Mohan under the supervision of Shri Govind Sharma, ACP/SR, Special Cell has busted an Inter-State gang of illegal firearm trading racket and apprehended two persons namely Hasim @ Hazari, aged 24 years s/o Iliyas r/o Vill. Nangla Siroli, P.S. Kosi Kalan, Distt. Mathura, UP and Shakeel, aged 23 years s/o Deenu r/o Vill. Singar, P.S. Punhana, Distt. Mewat, HR. Total 17 illegal semi-automatic sophisticated pistols of 7.65 mm have been recovered from the accused persons. The recovered weapons are engraved with “Made in Italy” and “Made in USA” markings.
OPERATION

It had come to notice that arms manufacturer and suppliers from MP and Bihar are supplying sophisticated firearms in Delhi-NCR and adjoining areas of UP. Accordingly, a team of Special Cell led by Inspector Satendra Mohan was deputed to identify the gang in Delhi & NCR. This team worked diligently and relentlessly by deploying informers in and around Delhi, Haryana and UP West.

APPREHENSION

On 11.07.2017, a specific information was received that the suppliers of illegal arms would come to Ring Road, near NH 24 cut, Indraprastha Park, New Delhi at about 6:00 to 7:00 PM to deliver a huge cache of semi-automatic weapons to his contacts. Accordingly, a trap was laid by the team of Insp. Satendra Mohan near Indraprastha Park, Ring Road, Delhi. At about 6:30 PM, two persons got down from a TSR near Indraprastha Park, near NH 24, Ring Road, Delhi. Both were carrying black colour bags on their shoulders. Both of them came towards bus stand Indraprastha Park, Ring Road and started waiting there for someone.  After some time when no one turned up and they were about to leave, at about 6:35 PM, they were overpowered and apprehended. They were identified as Hasim @ Hazari, aged 24 years s/o Iliyas r/o Vill. Nangla Siroli, P.S. Kosi Kalan, Distt. Mathura, UP and Shakeel, aged 23 years s/o Deenu r/o Vill. Singar, P.S. Punhana, Distt. Mewat, HR.
On checking the black colour bag of accused Hasim @ Hazari, 12 semi-automatic sophisticated pistols were recovered and 05 semi-automatic sophisticated pistols were recovered from the bag of Shakil. A case vide FIR No. 48/17 dated 12.07.2017 u/s 25 Arms Act, PS Special Cell, New Delhi has been registered. 
INTERROGATION
Interrogation of Hasim @ Hazari revealed that these weapons were collected by him from a manufacturer in Sendhwa, Distt. Badwani, MP and the same were to be supplied to various contacts in Delhi NCR, UP and Haryana. Hasim during interrogation, admitted that he had supplied about 1,000 arms in Delhi NCR, UP and Haryana on several occasions and was therefore was also identified as Hazari in criminal network.
Interrogation of Shakil revealed that these weapons were collected by him from same source of Sendhwa, Distt. Badwani, MP and the same were to be supplied to various criminals of Mewat.  Earlier also Shakil has supplied arms in Delhi NCR, UP and Haryana on several occasions.

PROFILE OF CRIMINAL:
Hasim @ Hazari was born in 1993 in Village Nangla Siroli, PS Kosi Kalan, Distt. Mathura, UP. He studied up to B.A.  He is married and having 3 children. Earlier he was working as taxi driver but his income was not sufficient to fulfill his basic needs. Being unable to make sufficient earnings, he came in contact with arms traffickers of Delhi, Haryana and UP. Thereafter, he started supply illegal arms for local arms traffickers. He used to collect the illegal semi-automatic pistols from a manufacturer of Sendhwa, Distt. Barwani, MP on the directions of local arms traffickers and further supplies to them in Delhi NCR, UP and Haryana.
 Shakil was born in 1994 in Village Singar, PS Punhana, Distt. Mewat, HR. He studied up to 5th standard. He is married and having 2 children. Earlier he was working as taxi driver but his income was not sufficient to fulfill his basic needs. Being unable to make sufficient earnings, he came in contact with Hasim r/o Vill. Nangla Siroli, PS Kosi Kalan, Distt. Mathura, UP and started supplying of illegal arms for local arms traffickers/criminals. He used to collect the illegal semi-automatic pistols from a manufacturer of Sendhwa, Distt. Barwani, MP on the directions of local arms traffickers and further supplies to them in Delhi NCR, UP and Haryana.
Their previous involvements are being verified from their local police stations.

Sagar @ Punter a sharp shooter of Naveen Khati Gang arrested

Two sophisticated pistols alongwith 9 cartridges recovered. A reward of Rs 50,000/- was declared by Delhi Police for his arrest. A team of Special Cell, Northern Range, led by Insp. Sanjay Nagpal, Inspr. Prabhat Kumar & Insp.
