EXTORTIONIST SONU DEMANDING PROTECTION MONEY ARRESTED

  • PISTOL USED IN THE COMMISSION OF OFFENCE RECOVERED.

Accused Sonu Khan S/o Asgar Ali R/o G-109, Kallan Chauk, Shaheed Nagar, GZB, Police Staff of PS Seemapuri demanding Rs10 lacs as protection money arrested and one pistol recovered from him.

INCIDENT:-

Raja khan S/o Kallu Khan R/o G-6/F-1, Dilshad Colony, Shahdara Delhi owns an office for interior decoration. For the past few days Raja Khan was receiving threatening calls. Caller used to demand protection money from Raja Khan for working peacefully in their area. Initially Raja Khan avoided these calls but on 07.04.17 one person namely Sonu Khan along with his two accomplices visited the place of Raja Khan and again threatened him Raja Khan pointing pistol towards him and demanded Rs 10 Lacs as protection money. Raja Khan reported the matter to police, on basis of which case vide FIR No. 340/17 U/s 387/34 IPC & 27 Arms Act, PS Seemapuri was registered.  

INVESTIGATION:-

During investigation the CCTV footage of the incident was seized. A team comprising of SI Vishvendra No. D-4912, Ct. Rahul Tyagi No. 1316/SHD & Ct. Prince No. 1329/SHD was constituted to nab the criminals under the leader ship of Inspr. Sanjeev Kumar SHO/ Seemapuri and close supervision of Sh. Hareshver V. Swami ACP/Seemapuri. On 28.06.2017 the team apprehended the main accused of the case Sonu Khan from his house. The accused person was arrested in the case.

 On thorough interrogation the pistol used to threaten the complainant was also recovered from his house. The accused Sonu Khan disclosed that he along with his associates namely Salman & Deepak went to the office of Raja Khan to extort money from him.

Sagar @ Punter a sharp shooter of Naveen Khati Gang arrested

Two sophisticated pistols alongwith 9 cartridges recovered. A reward of Rs 50,000/- was declared by Delhi Police for his arrest. A team of Special Cell, Northern Range, led by Insp. Sanjay Nagpal, Inspr. Prabhat Kumar & Insp. Pankaj Kumar under the supervision of Shri Pankaj Sood, ACP has arrested sharp shooter of notorious and desperate gangster Naveen @ Khati namely  Sagar @ Punter, alongwith his associate Ravi @ Cheeru. Two pistols alongwith 9 cartridges were recovered from their possession.  A Bullet Motor-Cycle used by gangster has also been seized.
