ORGANIZED HUMAN TRAFFICKING RACKET BUSTED

INTRODUCTION: -
Crime Branch has apprehended 3 persons (i) Subham Gosai (25 yrs) s/o Sudhu Gosai r/o G-978, Shakurpur, Delhi, permanent address: Village Kamda Sikra Toli, PS Turpa, Distt. Khunti, Jharkhand, (ii) Sagar Rout (25 yrs) s/o Chandan Rao r/o Vill. Sonthela, PS Haflong, District Dima Hasao, Assam and (iii) Ranjan Koiri (28 yrs) s/o Soshi Koiri r/o Village Sutiakari, PS Borhaat,  Distt. Shivsagar, Assam, for operating organized gang indulged in trafficking of girls from Assam to Delhi and other States.
INCIDENT: -
             A complaint was received in Crime Branch regarding missing of complainant’s daughter aged 27 years since 24.02.17. It was informed that the location of the said girl was in Shakurpur, Delhi.
TEAM AND OPERATION: -
        On receipt of this complaint, a team led by ACP Shweta Chauhan, consisting of Inspector Virender Kumar, ASI Vinod, HCs Naveen Pandey, Phraphul Joshi and W/Ct. Sweety was constituted under the close supervision of DCP Dr. G. Ramgopal Naik and under overall guidance of Addl.CP K.K. Vyas to trace and rescue the girl.
Efforts were made to trace the girl in the area of Shakurpur, Delhi on the basis of CDRs of the mobile phone of the victim. On enquiry, it came to notice that the location of the mobile phone of victim was in Shakurpur, Delhi from 26.02.17 to 28.02.17. On further enquiry, three persons (i) Rajan Koiri, (ii) Sagar Rao both r/o Assam and (iii) Shubham r/o Shakurpur,  Delhi, permanent r/o Khunti, Jharkhand were detained in the case from the area of Shakurpur, Delhi.  The mobile phones, which were being used by the accused persons to contact each other, were recovered from their possession.
         During further enquires, it came to notice that the victim was brought to Delhi from Guwahati on 26.02.17, while she was waiting for train on 24.02.17, on the pretext of providing her a good job but she was forcefully kept in a rented house at Shakurpur and was forced to do the work of a maid. When she denied and resisted to do this job, she was beaten, her SIM was broken and money and gold chain was snatched from her.  
Due to extreme resistance by her, she was abandoned at New Delhi Railway Station on 28.02.17 at about 1.30 PM, which has been confirmed by CCTV footage.

          Sincere efforts were made to trace the victim in the area of New Delhi Railway Station and enquiry was made from TSR/Taxi drivers, coolies and shopkeepers in that area. Later on, she was traced at New Delhi Railway Station on 2.03.2017 at 4.30 AM. All these three persons are having previous criminal involvements. Further legal action is being taken by the IO of PS Vashistha, Guwahati, Assam vide FIR No. 133/17 u/s 366 IPC dated 25.02.2017.

Sagar @ Punter a sharp shooter of Naveen Khati Gang arrested

Two sophisticated pistols alongwith 9 cartridges recovered. A reward of Rs 50,000/- was declared by Delhi Police for his arrest. A team of Special Cell, Northern Range, led by Insp. Sanjay Nagpal, Inspr. Prabhat Kumar & Insp. Pankaj Kumar under the supervision of Shri Pankaj Sood, ACP has arrested sharp shooter of notorious and desperate gangster Naveen @ Khati namely  Sagar @ Punter, alongwith his associate Ravi @ Cheeru. Two pistols alongwith 9 cartridges were recovered from their possession.  A Bullet Motor-Cycle used by gangster has also been seized.
