ESTRANGED LOVER WHO MURDERED HUSBAND OF HER LOVER ARRESTED

With the arrest of accused Hasan Abbas s/o Farhat Ali r/o Village- Sakhni, Jahangirabad, Bulandshahar, UP aged-42 years, the joint team of PS-Gokalpuri and Anti Robbery & Snatching Cell, North-East Delhi has solved the sensational murder case vide FIR No-117/17 u/s-302 IPC & 27 Arms Act registered on 26/3/17. The team comprising of Inspector Aishvir Singh (In-charge Anti Robbery & Snatching Cell, North-East Delhi), Insp. Harish Kumar SHO/Gokulpuri, SI Amit, SI Prempal, ASI Vijender, and HC Anil under overall supervision of Sh. Sachin Sharma, ACP/Gokalpuri has done this commendable job.
INCIDENT
On 26-3-17, a PCR call was received in PS-Gokalpuri that a person has been shot at D Block, Brijpuri, Delhi. SI Prempal who reached the spot and found one fired empty shell of .12 bore bullet, one white shoe and pool of blood. It was revealed that injured Gulam Abbas s/o Kudrat Ali received bullet injury on his leg and was admitted in GTB Hospital. Complainant Rizwan Ali s/o Gulfam Ali, r/o Gali No.10, D Block, Brijpuri, Delhi met IO in hospital, who stated that he is residing at the above said address since 5 months with his uncle Gulam Abbas and his family. Wife of Gulam Abbas had illicit relations with Hasan Abbas s/o Farhat Ali since ago. Further he stated that on the day of incident, the said person Hasan Abbas came to their house with a double barrel gun and had a heated scuffle with his uncle Gulam Abbas. After which he shot his uncle in leg and ran away from the spot. Hence the case was registered and investigation was carried out by Insp. Harish Kumar, SHO/Gokalpuri. Bullet which hit the injured was of high caliber, it immediately caused huge blood loss to the injured and resulted in his death during treatment. A dedicated team was constituted and sources were deployed to collect intelligence. Secret informers of the area were mobilized to get any possible clue regarding the absconding accused Hasan Abbas. A team was also sent to the native village of accused but he was not found present there. Further, based on the technical surveillance, all possible hide outs of the accused in Mustafabad, Ghonda, Loni, Sahibabad, Ghazia  bad were raided but no clue. On 28-3-17, secret information was received that the accused person Hasan Abbas is trying to escape Delhi and may come to Anand Vihar bus stand. Immediately the team under supervision of Insp. Aishvir Singh and Insp. Harish Kumar SHO/Gokulpuri acted on the tip off, and reached Anand Vihar bus stand and apprehended the accused Hasan Abbas s/o Farhat Ali in front of Anand Vihar bus stand. At the instance of accused, his double barrel gun (weapon of offence), live cartridge & his blood stain clothes were recovered.
INTERROGATION & MOTIVE

The arrested accused Hasan Abbas s/o Farhat Ali r/o Gali No-23, Chand Bagh, Delhi disclosed he had illicit relations with the wife of deceased since last 12-13 years, who was well known to Gulam Abbas. Since last 5-6 months Gulam Abbas objected for the same. Deceased also dissuaded and stopped his wife from meeting accused, which angered accused a lot. On 26-3-17 accused went to the house of Gulam Abbas with his licensed double barrel gun and after a heated scuffle, shot him in the leg.

Two sophisticated pistols alongwith 9 cartridges recovered. A reward of Rs 50,000/- was declared by Delhi Police for his arrest. A team of Special Cell, Northern Range, led by Insp.
