A SYNDICATE INVOLVED IN SUPPLY OF FAKE INDIAN CURRENCY NOTES IN DELHI AND UP BUSTED

  • THREE PERSONS ARRESTED.
  • TOTAL ONE LAC FORTY THOUSAND FAKE CURRENCY NOTES IN DENOMINATION OF RS. 100/- RECOVERED.
  • A HIGH QUALITY COLOR PRINTING MACHINE ALONG WITH FINE PAPERS RECOVERED .
  • A VERNA CAR NO.DL-3CAT-1388 USED FOR CIRCULATION FOR FAKE CURRENCY WAS ALSO RECOVERED .
INTRODUCTION:
Northern Range Crime Branch has busted a syndicate involved in supply of fake currency notes of denomination Rs. 100/-in various part of Delhi and UP and arrested three persons namely (1.) Hakikat Chauhan S/o Tosif Chauhan R/o Khasra No.592 Rajeev Nagar Extension Bhalswa Dairy Delhi Age -33 yrs. (2) Tahseen S/o Anwar R/o Rajeev Nagar Extension Bhalswa Dairy Delhi Age -34 yrs. (3) Fazar S/o Sabbir R/o  VPO Gonachi Teh- Ballabgarh  Distt. Faridabad Age -35 yrs. and recovered total one Lac forty thousand fake currency in denomination of Rs. 100/-, a high quality printer /scanner machine with fine papers.
INFORMATION TEAM AND OPERATION:
Recently information were being received in general that, fake currency in the denomination of Rs. 100/- is in circulation in Delhi. The Crime Branch of Delhi Police deployed teams to bust such syndicate operating in Delhi. On 24/3/17, a specific information was received in Northern Range Sec -18  Rohini Delhi that Hakikat Chauhan and his associate Tehseen are indulged in supply of fake currency notes in area of Delhi and UP and both would go to Merrut  (UP) in Verna Car No. DL-3CAT - 1388 to circulate a huge consignment of fake currency notes .This information was further developed and  a team of Crime Branch led by Inspr. Satyawan Lathwal consisting of ASIs Virender Singh, Jitender Singh, Anil Kumar, Ravinder Singh, Sukhbir Singh, HCs Sandeep, Manish Kumar, Jitender, Pardeep, Ct. Manish and W/Ct. Mamta  under close supervision of ACP D.P Singh was constituted to nab the criminals under the overall supervision of DCP Sh. Rajesh Dev. Accordingly a trap was laid by the team near Wazirabad flyover, Ring Road Delhi. At about 11 AM, two persons were spotted in a Verna car No. DL-3CAT-1388 which was going towards ISBT, Kashmiri Gate, Delhi. After a short chase, Verna car was successfully intercepted by the team on the Wazirabad flyover Delhi. The occupants were apprehended by the team in a swift action. Accused Hakikat Chauhan was driving the car and Tehseen was sitting on the adjacent seat. From their search, fake currency of total face value Rs. Ninety thousand in the denomination of Rs. 100/-  were recovered from their possession .
A case under appropriate section of law was registered and both accused persons namely Hakikat Chauhan and Tehseen were arrested. In pursuance of disclosures of the accused persons, one more accused Fazar was also arrested in this case. His search led to recovery of fake currency of face value Rs. 50000/- in the denomination of Rs. 100/-from his house. One high quality color printer/scanner along with fine quality papers (GSM85) were also recovered from his house.
INTERROGATION & PROFILE OF THE ACCUSED PERSONS
  1. Hakikat Chauhan S/o Tosif Chauhan: He disclosed that he is a permanent resident of Vill. Rasulpur Distt Merrut (UP) and presently residing in Rajeev Nagar Extension, Bhalswa Dairy Delhi. He used to work as a scrap dealer in Bhalswa Dairy, Delhi He was arrested in a auto theft case vide FIR No.30/11 U/S 411/420/471/482 IPC PS Sun Light Colony in 2011. After getting bail, he came in contact with Tehseen who further introduced him to one Fazar R/o Ballabgarh  (HR). He along with Tehseen used to receive the fake currency from Fazar and circulate them mostly in weekly Bazaar of Delhi and UP. He used to hide the fake notes in the bundles of original note so that it could be supplied easily .He earned around Rs. Fifteen thousand on supply of Rs. One Lac.
2 Tahseen S/o Anwar:- He disclosed that he is a resident of vill Mohamdabad Distt Bhulandsahar (UP) and he used to work as labour (mason). One of his known persons namely Fazar is living a lavish life due to illegal bussines in fake currency notes. He introduced his friend Hakikat Chauhan to him and thereafter, they started receiving fake currency notes from Fazar R/o Ballabgarh, Haryana.

  1. Fazar S/o Sabbir:- He disclosed that he is permanent resident of Vill Gonachi Teh Ballabgarh (HR) . He used to make household furniture items. In 2011, one Wahid trained him how to print or scan a currency note and how to cut it with precision .He used to print the fake note with the help of a high quality color printing machine. He used to procure the fine paper from Nehru Ground Ballabgarh (HR) .He was arrested earlier in PS Okhla  in case of fake currency note in year 2012.

Sagar @ Punter a sharp shooter of Naveen Khati Gang arrested
