INTER-STATE ILLEGAL ARMS TRAFFICKING RACKET UNEARTHED

• 30 COUNTRY MADE ILLEGAL ARMS (2 CARBINES 2 REVOLVERS AND 26 PISTOLS) RECOVERED.

    A team of Special Cell led by Inspr. Satendra Mohan under the supervision of Shri Govind Sharma, ACP/SR, Special Cell has busted an Inter-State gang which is involved in illegal firearm trading and apprehended three members of the gang including one Lady namely 1. Miskin, aged 30 years r/o Distt. Saharanpur, UP. 2. Jabir, aged 30 years s/o Kalwa r/o Vill. Jolla, PS. Budhana, Distt. Muzaffarnagar, UP and 3. Balu, aged 35 years, s/o Bisan r/o Vill. Shahpur, PS. Sendhwa, Distt. Badwani, MP. Total 30 country made illegal arms including 2 automatic sophisticated Carbine of 7.65 mm, 7semi-automatic sophisticated pistols of 9 mm, 2 revolvers of 7.65 mm and 19 semi-automatic sophisticated pistols of 7.65 mm have been recovered from the accused persons. The recovered weapons are engraved with “MADE IN ETALIYA”, MADE IN JAPAN and MADE IN USA markings. Out of these 2 Carbines and 23 Pistols have one spare magazine each.

OPERATION

It has come to notice that an arms manufacturer and suppliers from MP and Western UP are supplying sophisticated firearms in Delhi-NCR and adjoining areas of UP. Accordingly, a team of Special Cell led by Inspector Satendra Mohan was deputed to identify the gang in Delhi & NCR. This team worked diligently and relentlessly by deploying informers in and around Delhi and UP West.

APPREHENSION

On 24.03.2017, a specific information was received that one Lady alongwith her two associates would come near GTB Hospital Chowk, Dilshad Garden, Delhi at about 7:00/8:00 AM to deliver a huge cache of semi-automatic weapons to her contacts. Accordingly, a trap was laid by tema consisting of Insp. Satender, SI Sumit, W/SI Nirmala, ASI Arvind, HC Ravinder Saroha, HC Raj Kumar, HC Sachin, Ct Gurvender, Ct. Mohit, and Ct Rohitnear GTB Hospital Chowk, Dilshad Garden, Delhi. At about 7:15 AM, oneLady alongwith two persons came in an E-rickshaw from the side towards IHBAS.  They got down from the E-rickshaw and also offloaded a big Black colour battery from the E-rickshaw. All the three persons were carrying bags on their shoulders.  They were waiting for someone.  After some time when no one turned up and they were about to leave, at about 7:30 AM, they were overpowered and apprehended. Lady was identified as Miskin, aged 30 years r/o Distt. Saharanpur, UP and the gents were identified as Balu, aged 35 years, s/o Bisan r/o Vill. Shahpur, PS. Sendhwa, Distt. Badwani, MP and Jabir, aged 30 years s/o Kalwa r/o Vill. Jolla, PS. Budhana, Distt. Muzaffarnagar, UP.

On checking of the black coloured battery in possession of accused 20 semi-automatic sophisticated pistols were recovered. One Carbine and two pistols were recovered from Miskin’s hand bag, One Carbine and two pistols were recovered from the bag of Jabir and two pistols and two revolvers were recovered from the bag of Balu. A case vide FIR No. 21/17 dated 24.03.2017 u/s 25 Arms Act 120B/34 IPC, PS Special Cell, New Delhi has been registered.  

INTERROGATION

Interrogation of Miskin, Jabir and Balu revealed that these weapons were purchased from Pyarelal aka Sikander r/o Vill. Shahpur, PS. Sendhwa, Distt. Badwani, MP and the same were to be supplied to Nafis Khan r/o Janta Colony, Welcome, Delhi, Jahiruddin and his partner Julfikar @ Guddu of Meerut and Mohd. Hafijof Village Radhana, PS Kithore, Distt. Meerut, UP. Two pistols and two revolvers were to be supplied to Nafis Khan of Trans Yamuna area of Delhi, 2 carbines and 7 semi-automatic pistols of 9 mm were to be supplied to Jahiruddin and his partner Julfikar @ Guddu of Meerut and remaining 17 pistols were to be supplied to Mohd. Hafij of Vill. Radhna, PS Kithore, Distt. Meerut, UP. Earlier also Miskin and Jabir had supplied arms in Delhi NCR and UP on several occasions.

PROFILE OF ACCUSED:

Miskin was born in the year 1988 in Distt. Meerut, UP. She is having 8 brothers and 5 sisters. Sheis illiterate. She is having one son and three daughters. She was married to Asar Mohd. r/o Vill. Jolla, PS Budhana, Distt. Muzaffarnagar, UP about 12/13 years back. After 3/4 years of her marriage, her husband expired due to illness. After the death of her husband, she again got married (after 1 year) to Salim r/o Distt. Shahranpur, UP who was a criminal. Salim was arrested in a murder case in the year 2014 and was lodged in Deoband Jail. During that period, she came in contact with so many local criminals and started supplying illegal arms to local criminals after purchasing from several suppliers of Distt. Barwani, MP.  She alongwith Jabir collected the money from Nafis Khan, Jahhiruddin,Julfikar aka Guddu and Hafij and reached Distt. Barwani, MP and purchased the illegal weapons from Pyarelal aka Sikander r/o Sahpur, MP.

Jabir was born in 1987 in Village Jolla, PS Budhana, Distt. Muzaffarnagar, UP. He studied up to 2nd standard. He is working as a labourer in local agricultural fields. His wife expired 2/3 months back. He is having three children. He came in contact with Miskin who is indulged in supply of illegal arms. Being unable to make sufficient earnings, he alongwith Miskin started supplying of illegal arms to local criminals.

Balu was born in 1982 in Village Shahpura, Teh. Sendhwa, Distt. Badwani, MP. He is illiterate. He is married. He is working as a labourer in local agricultural fields. He came in contact with one Pyarelal @ Sikander r/o Village Shahpur, MP who is supplier of illegal arms. Being unable to make sufficient earning, he started supplying illegal arms. Sikander had sent him to accompany Miskin and Jabir and help them in transportation of heavy battery containing weapons. He also supplies illegal semi-automatic pistols in Delhi and NCR after purchasing from Sikander.
