  • ACCUSED AMAN @ BITTOO HAS NOT ONLY PREVIOUS CRIMINAL RECORD BUT ALSO A DRUG ADDICT.
  • ACCUSED ABDUL KHAN IS THE RECEIVER OF THE STOLEN PROPERTY.
  • ONE STOLEN BAJAJ MOTOR CYCLE & 12 ROBBED/SNATCHED MOBILES RECOVERED.

A team of police personal of AATS of South-West has arrested a vicious, dreaded & infamous gang of robbers/snatchers-cum-auto lifters with the arrest of accused persons namely (1) Aman @ Bittoo S/o Satbir R/o C-205, JJ Colony, Shiv Vihar, Uttam Nagar, Delhi. Age – 20 years and the receiver of stolen property (2) Abdul Khan S/o Annuddin Khan R/o H. No. 179, QutubVihar, E-Block, Goyala Diary, Chawala, New Delhi . Age – 28 years.  The kingpin of the gang Aman @ Bittoo was a brilliant student.  But his parents parted their ways due to matrimonial dispute, this incident distracted him from studies and he could study till class 12th only.  He fell in bad company and started taking drugs and committing petty offences like theft etc. With the passage of time he graduated in crime and started committing more heinous offences.  After serving a jail term of 06 months he came out from jail in March 2016 and constituted his own gang with co-accused Abdul Khan, Bunty etc. and committed series of crimes in the area of South-West District.  He was inspired by Bollywood star John Abraham’s role in blockbuster “Shootout at Wadala” and once also went to Mumbai to meet him.  He wanted to make quick money and wanted to be renowned criminal.  Around two dozen incidents of robbery, snatching & m/v theft worked out.  One stolen Bajaj motor cycle and one dozen robbed/snatched mobiles have been recovered from their possession.
TEAM &OPERATION :

Due to incidents of robbery & snatching in the area of South-West District Insp. Raj Kumar, AATS/SWD was assigned the task to curb the crime with an iron hand and arrest the criminals.  A strong team of dedicated police officers was constituted which collected criminal intelligence, deployed secret informers, took help of technical survelliance etc.  On 24/09/16, secret information was received that at about 6.00 PM accused persons Aman @ Bittoo and Abdul Khan will come in the parking of Sector-14, Metro Station, Dwarka, Delhi on stolen motor cycle no. DL-11-SE-1026. Hence under the supervision of Sh. Rajender Kumar, ACP/Operation a dedicated team of police officers under the leadership of Insp. Raj Kumar comprising of ASI Shiv Kumar, HC Jitender, HC Vinod Kumar, Ct. Manish, Ct. Krishan, Ct. Jagat and Ct. Subhash was formed.  The information was developed & verified and a trap was laid near Metro Station, Sector-14, Dwarka, New Delhi.  At about 6:00 PM, both the accused persons on above stolen motor cycle arrived there, who were apprehended on the pointing of secret informer.  A Bajaj Motor Cycle was recovered from their possession.  On verification the Yamaha m/cycle was found to be stolen vide Case FIR No. 014479, U/s 379 IPC, PS E-police station (area PS Mianwali Nagar). Further, on sustained interrogation the accused persons disclosed their involvement in about two dozen incidents of snatching, robbery and motor vehicle theft.  One stolen Bajaj m/cycle & one dozen robbed/snatched mobiles were recovered from their possession.
