ONE DRUG TRAFFICKER ARRESTED

  • 500 GM OF FINE QUALITY HEROIN SEIZED.
  • VALUE OF HEROIN IN INTERNATIONAL MARKET IS APPROXIMATELY RS. 50 LAC.
Crime Branch has apprehended one drug trafficker Ravi Kumar @ Pappe (42 yrs) s/o Manik Chand r/o H.No.16/982H, Gali No.5, Pyare Lal Road, Bapa Nagar, Delhi and 500 gm fine quality heroin has been recovered from his possession. The recovered heroin is worth Rs.50 lac (approximately) in the international market.
INFORMATION, TEAM AND OPERATION: -
On 20.09.2016, an information was received by SI Sumit Kumar that one Ravi Kumar @ Pappe r/o Bapa Nagar, Delhi is indulged in sale & supply of heroin in bulk & retail. The Information further entailed that Ravi Kumar @ Pappe would come near drain Najafgarh, Outer Ring Road, Meera Bagh, Delhi to deliver a huge consignment of heroin to someone. A team of officers of the Crime Branch led by ACP Sanjeev Kumar Tyagi, consisting of Insp. Sunil Kumar, SI Sumit Kumar, ASIs Mehak Singh, HC Vikram, Cts Dinesh Kumar, Jagdish, Ravinder and Mahender was constituted under the supervision of DCP Rajan Bhagat and under overall guidance of Addl.CP K.K.Vyas to nab him. A trap was laid near drain Najafgarh, Outer Ring Road, Meera Bagh, Delhi and one Ravi Kumar @ Pappe was apprehended and 500 gm of fine quality heroin was recovered from his possession. A case vide FIR No.163/16 dated 20/09/16 u/s 21 NDPS Act was registered PS Crime Branch in this regard.
INTERROGATION AND PROFILE: -
During interrogation, he revealed that he is married and belongs to a poor family background. He had studied upto 6th standard. He further disclosed that he came in contact with Jareef r/o Bapa Nagar, Delhi, who is involved in supply of heroin in Delhi. Jareef told him that he could earn quick and easy money in supply of heroin and he also told him about one Naved (suspected to be receiver of heroin). Accused Ravi Kumar started supplying heroin to Naved after procuring it from one Shan resident of Bareilly, UP.

Sagar @ Punter a sharp shooter of Naveen Khati Gang arrested

Two sophisticated pistols alongwith 9 cartridges recovered. A reward of Rs 50,000/- was declared by Delhi Police for his arrest. A team of Special Cell, Northern Range, led by Insp. Sanjay Nagpal, Inspr. Prabhat Kumar & Insp. Pankaj Kumar under the supervision of Shri Pankaj Sood, ACP has arrested sharp shooter of notorious and desperate gangster Naveen @ Khati namely  Sagar @ Punter, alongwith his associate Ravi @ Cheeru. Two pistols alongwith 9 cartridges were recovered from their possession.  A Bullet Motor-Cycle used by gangster has also been seized.
