DRUG TRAFFICKERS OF INTERSTATE DRUG SYNDICATE ARRESTED

  Ø    75.380 KG OF GANJA HAS BEEN RECOVERED.
Ø    ONE OF THE ACCUSED BABUJI SAHU IS A SERVING ARMY PERSONNEL AND ANOTHER IS SON OF AN EX-SUB INSPECTOR OF DELHI POLICE.
Ø    ONE HONDA CAR ALSO SEIZED.

INTRODUCTION: - Crime Branch has arrested three members of interstate drug traffickers (i). Babuji Sahu (43 yrs) s/o Late Gopi Nath Sahu r/o Main Raod, Kukuda Khandi, PS Sadar Berhampur, Distt. Ganjam, Odisha. (ii). Jitender Yadav (22 yrs) s/o Late Kishan Yadav r/o F-91, Gali No.8, Vishwas Park, Uttam Nagar, Delhi and (iii). Narender Kumar(27 yrs) s/o Late Vir Singh r/o Bhogpur Mithoni, Bhoor Sirkoi, PS Manjhola, Muradabad, UP. About 75.380 Kgs of fine quality ganja was recovered from their possession. Babuji Sahu is a serving army personnel and is currently posted in Amritsar, Punjab. Jitender Yadav is son of an ex-Sub Inspector of Delhi Police. 

TEAM AND OPERATION: - ASI Yudhvir Singh of South Western Range was having information that huge quantity of ganja was being smuggled in Delhi from Odisha and Bihar and was being sold in various parts of Delhi. This information was further developed for months and the efforts yielded fruits when on 30.08.16 a specific information was received that huge quantity of ganja would be delivered in Sector-14, Dwarka, Delhi.  Immediately, a team led by ACP Sanjay Sehrawat, consisting of Inspr. P.C Khanduri, SIs Data Ram, Rajbir Singh, ASI Yudhvir Singh, HCs Bijender, Dinesh Kumar, Virender, Satender, Hanuman, Ravinder,  Cts Sandeep Dabas and Saurabh Saini was constituted under the supervision of  DCP Bhisham Singh and under overall guidance of  Addl.CP K.K Vyas. Acting on the information, a trap was laid and the above persons were apprehended near Bus Stand “Bauddhik Sampada Bhawan” Sector-14, Dwraka, Delhi at about 5 PM. From the search of an iron box, bedding and trolley bag found from the possession of accused persons, 75.380 Kg of ‘ganja’ in 30 packets was recovered. 
FIR under appropriate sections was registered and all the three persons were arrested.
PROFILE & INTERROGATION: -
1.            Babuji Sahu was born and brought up in his native village in Odisha. He studied up to 12th standard from government school. In 1992, he joined Indian Army as sepoy. Later on, he was promoted to the rank of HMT Gun Fitter.  Presently, he is posted at Amritsar, Punjab. He belongs to the area where illegal cultivation of cannabis plant takes place. He came in contact with some persons of his village, who used to sell ganja. Lured by the huge profit in this trade, he also started supplying ganja.  Whenever, he used to go to his native place on leave, he would take ganja with him and supply it to his contacts in Delhi and UP.  He used to transport the ganja in train after concealing it in his luggage. By this way no one would ever suspect him. After delivery of ganja, he used to travel back to his place by Air.
2.            Narender Kumar was born and brought up in Muradabad, UP. After studying upto to 8th standard, he worked in an export firm in Moradabad.  2 years back he opened a shop of auto parts. However, he suffered huge losses in his business. Some months ago, he met Jitender Yadav in Delhi. Jitender asked him to arrange ganja for him and offered big commission. He got the mobile number of Babuji Sahu through one of his friend. Babuji Sahu came to Moradabad and during this meeting Babuji Sahu agreed to supply ganja in Delhi.  The rate of the drug and other modalities were also fixed in that meeting. Narender Kumar was the conduit between Babuji Sahu and Jitender Yadav.
3.            Jitender Yadav is a son of an ex-Sub Inspector of Delhi Police. After passing 12th standard, he dropped his studies due to lack of interest. His father died 5 years ago due to ill health. He came in contact with the bad elements of the area and started selling ganja in small quantity. Having tasted the big profit in this business, he started supplying huge quantity to small retailers. He used to get the ganjafrom Babuji Sahu.

Sagar @ Punter a sharp shooter of Naveen Khati Gang arrested

Two sophisticated pistols alongwith 9 cartridges recovered. A reward of Rs 50,000/- was declared by Delhi Police for his arrest. A team of Special Cell, Northern Range, led by Insp. Sanjay Nagpal, Inspr. Prabhat Kumar & Insp. Pankaj Kumar under the supervision of Shri Pankaj Sood, ACP has arrested sharp shooter of notorious and desperate gangster Naveen @ Khati namely  Sagar @ Punter, alongwith his associate Ravi @ Cheeru. Two pistols alongwith 9 cartridges were recovered from their possession.  A Bullet Motor-Cycle used by gangster has also been seized.
