NOTORIOUS CRIMINAL/ROBBER OF SOUTH-WEST DISTRICT ARRESTED

  • ONE SOPHISTICATED PISTOL AND ONE ROBBED HYUNDAI I-20 CAR RECOVERED.
  • A  REWARD OF RS. 25000/- WAS DECLARED ON HIS ARREST.
Crime Branch has arrested a dreaded and desperate criminal Jaiveer @ Monu (30 yrs) s/o Randhir Singh r/o H.No.16, Mandir Wali Gali, VPO Nanakheri, PS Chhawla, New Delhi, who was wanted in two sensational murder cases reported vide FIR No.442/15 u/s 302/201/120B/34 IPC PS Chhawla and FIR No. 237/16 u/s 302/120B/34 IPC, PS Chhawla, one  dacoity case vide FIR No. 364/16 u/s 395 IPC & 25/54/59 Arms Act of PS Rajendra Park, Gurgaon, Haryana and one car theft case vide FIR No.24366/16 u/s 379 IPC of PS Chhawla.       
TEAM, INFORMATION & OPERATION:-
On 29.08.2016, an information was received at South Eastern Range, Crime Branch that a rewardee & desperate criminal Jaiveer @ Monu, who is wanted in two murder cases of PS Chhawla would come at Najafgarh - Nangloi Road in front of Airforce Station in the evening hours.
Keeping in view the sensitivity of the information, a dedicated team led by ACP Ishwar Singh, comprising of Insp. Surinder Sandhu, SI Rajeev Malik, ASI Jai Prakash, HCs Deep Chand, Mitter Singh, Hari Kishan, Cts Sandeep, Manish, Manjinder and Rajinder was constituted under the close supervision of DCP Bhisham Singh and under overall supervision of Addl.CP K.K.Vyas to nab the criminal.  A trap was laid at Najafgarh- Nangloi Road in front of Air force Station and Jaiveer @ Monu was apprehended. On his cursory search, one 9 MM pistol and 5 live cartridges were recovered from his possession. On his instance, one i-20 car robbed from the area of PS Rajendra Park, Gurgoan was also recovered. Subsequently, a case vide FIR No.149/16 u/s 25/54/59 Arms Act, PS Crime Branch was registered in this regard.
INTERROGATION: -
During the course of interrogation, he disclosed that he is wanted in two murder cases of PS Chhawla. He also disclosed that on 24/08/16, he alongwith his associates Lala, Sumit, Sombir had robbed a Hyundai  i-20 car from a person on gunpoint near Dhankot, Gurgoan. Recently, he had also robbed a Hyundai Verna car from the area of PS Chhawla with the help of his associates. The robbed Hyundai i-20 car has been recovered on his instance. He was initially arrested in 2011 in an attempt to murder case in Jhajjar, Haryana. He has further disclosed that he was planning to kill family members of opposite party with the help of his associates and wanted to figure in top 10 criminals of Delhi.

Accused Jaiveer @ Monu has studied upto 12th standard from Open Board, Delhi. First time, he was arrested in 2011 in an attempt to murder case in Jhajjar, Haryana. He is a dreaded criminal and is involved a number of crimes in Delhi and NCR areas.

Two sophisticated pistols alongwith 9 cartridges recovered. A reward of Rs 50,000/- was declared by Delhi Police for his arrest. A team of Special Cell, Northern Range, led by Insp. Sanjay Nagpal, Inspr. Prabhat Kumar & Insp. Pankaj Kumar under the supervision of Shri Pankaj Sood, ACP has arrested sharp shooter of notorious and desperate gangster Naveen @ Khati namely  Sagar @ Punter, alongwith his associate Ravi @ Cheeru. Two pistols alongwith 9 cartridges were recovered from their possession.  A Bullet Motor-Cycle used by gangster has also been seized. A reward of Rs 50,000/- was declared by Delhi Police for his arrest. There is a long history of gang war in Najafgarh and adjoining areas.
