DESPERATE GANG OF BURGLARS ARRESTED BY THE DELHI POLICE

Six desperate burglars namely Saalim S/o  Mohd Aslam  R/o Vill. Setal PS Nawab Ganj Distt. Bareilly UP aged 35 years, (2) Kshitiz S/o Vinod kumar R/o A-20, Pkt B2, Mayur Vihar Phase 3rd Delhi aged 23 years (3) Shahzada Ajim @ Ajim @ Ajay @ Ashu S/o Mohd. Hanif r/o Vill. Sahas Pur Mohalla Hakim Pura PS Seohara Distt. Bijnore UP aged 35 years (4) Pawan S/o Kalyan Dutt R/o Vill. Alibad PS Bilari Distt. Moradabad UP aged 40 years (5) Rajvinder Singh @ Raja S/o Harnam Singh R/o Kachwa PS Salar Distt Karnal Presently H No C-12, Gali No 3, Vill. Kotla Delhi aged 23 years and (6) Ravinder S/o Dharam Pal R/o Vill. Kondly near Panchayat ghar Mayur Vihar Phase 3rd Delhi aged 25 years have been arrested. Four English pistols of .32 calibre, Two country made pistols of .315 bore, 11 cartridges (8 cartridges of .32 bore and 3 cartridges of .315 calibre) have been recovered. Stolen vehicles including one Echo car, one Honda city car, two Motor Cycles recovered. 52 mobile phones, grocery articles stolen from a Patanjali store, burglary tools/instruments have also been recovered from their possession.

INCIDENT

On 29.08.16, an information was received from Control Room that some persons are there in a flat behind Annapurna temple Sabha Pur and they are in possession of illegal weapons. On this information HC Braham Dev of PS Sonia Vihar reached the spot. PCR Van baker 15 also reached the spot. After intensive search two persons namely Saalim s/o Mohd Aslam and Kshtiz @ Jeetu s/o Vinod Kumar were apprehended. Two English pistols .32 bore with 4 live cartridges of .32 bore recovered from their possession. They were arrested in an Arms Act case and further investigation was conducted. On sustained interrogation, they disclosed the names of their associates. A trap was laid and two other gang members namely Ajim s/o Hanif, Pawan s/o Kalyan Dutt, were arrested with two stolen Motor Cycles and finally  other two associates namely Rajinder @ Raja and Ravinder were also arrested with two stolen cars. From the search of cars stolen articles, mobiles and burglary tools were recovered.

Subhash Vats SHO/Sonia Vihar and under the supervision of Sh Narender Kumar Chawla, ACP/Khajuri Khas has busted a  gang of burglars indulged in several cases of burglaries in the area of East and North East Distt Delhi.

MODUS OPERANDI:-

The modus operandi of the gang is that they reccee their targets during the day time. Mostly they targeted mobile shops, jewelry shops and showrooms where cash could be found.  They used to live in a rented accommodation taken on rent by some known person. They use stolen bikes and car to travel in night. After stealing the bikes and car they change their registration numbers. In the night they started for their prey and after reaching the destination they broke open the shutters with the help of special tools used for breaking the shutter. A big Iron hammer, saw, cutters and other instruments were being used by them have been recovered. They use to keep fire arms to target their prey if any resistance is given by the victims.  They mostly target cash, however they also stole mobile and other grocery/eatables to be consumed by them at their flat. They have devise their task to different members. Saalim was the gang leader and use to guide the members in the crime. Kshitiz and Ajim were expert in auto lifting. Ravinder and Rajvinder were the persons who use to dispose of the stolen mobiles and other articles. Mostly they dispose of their articles in weekly markets at cheap rates under the garb of imported material purchased from custom authorities.  All the criminals are desperate and roam with intention to kill the policemen who tries to catch them. Ajim @ ShahzadaAjim have been involved in a murder of a policemen on duty in area of PS Kapashera in the year 2008. Their area of operation in crime includes Trans Yamuna. They have committed crime in the area of PS Khajuri, Dilshad Garden, GTB Enclave, Farsh Bazar, Mandawali, New Ashok Nagar Delhi

2. Pawan s/o KalyanDuttR/o Vill Aliya Bad PS Bilari Distt Moradabad UP aged 40 years.  He is studied upt to 5th class. His wife is sister of Saalim’s wife. He fled from his house in and presently residing in rented accommodation of Village Ghadoli PS New Ashok Nagar Delhi. He is indulged in crime with Saalim.

3. Ajim s/o Hanif r/o VillSahapur PS SeoharaDisttBijnore UP, aged
   25 year. He is illiterate. Previously involved in beef export. He was arrested in beef cases in Haryana, Rajasthan. He was arrested in a murder case of police men in PS Kapashera Delhi, in the year 2008. He remained in jail for 5 years and convicted for 5 yrs imprisonment
