Murder case solved by PS Mandawali

  • Farther arrested for the murder of his son.
  • Distribution of property between siblings was the cause of crime.
INTRODUCTION, INFORMATION & ARREST: A case was registered at PS Mandawali u/s 302,308 IPC on 09.09.2016. One Mahender Nath Shukla was shot in the chest and was declared  brought dead to the hospital.  His wife was hit in the head allegedly by Ganesh Prasad Shukla (father of Mahender Nath Shukla).

Mandawali police arrested Ganesh Prasad Shukla (father of Mahender Nath Shukla) from near Sanjay Jheel, Pandav Nagar, Delhi, for the murder of his son and causing grievous injuries to his daughter-in-law. During interrogation, Ganesh  Prasad Shukla stated that there were frequent quarrels in the family over the distribution of property between his son Mahender Nath Shukla(deceased) and his daughter. He wanted to gift half of his ancestral property to his daughter which was vehemently opposed by his deceased son and his daughter -in-law. On the day of incident, his daughter-in-law again quarreled with the accused over the same issue and out of anger, the accused hit his daughter-in-law  with a stick.  The daughter-in-law communicated the issue to her husband (deceased Mahender Nath Shukla). Mahender Nath Shukla reached his house and confronted his father. A scuffle  took place between the father and son in which the father, Ganesh Prasad Shukla shot dead his son Mahender Nath Shukla with a single barrel gun. The gun used in the crime alongwith empty cartridge has been recovered at the instance of the accused.

Sagar @ Punter a sharp shooter of Naveen Khati Gang arrested

Two sophisticated pistols alongwith 9 cartridges recovered. A reward of Rs 50,000/- was declared by Delhi Police for his arrest. A team of Special Cell, Northern Range, led by Insp. Sanjay Nagpal, Inspr. Prabhat Kumar & Insp. Pankaj Kumar under the supervision of Shri Pankaj Sood, ACP has arrested sharp shooter of notorious and desperate gangster Naveen @ Khati namely  Sagar @ Punter, alongwith his associate Ravi @ Cheeru. Two pistols alongwith 9 cartridges were recovered from their possession.  A Bullet Motor-Cycle used by gangster has also been seized.
