DESPERATE CRIMINAL ROSHAN GUPTA ARRESTED BY CRIME BRANCH ALONGWITH HIS TWO ASSOCIATES

  • ROSHAN KHALLA IS “BC’ OF PS TILAK NAGAR AND IS INVOLVED IN 14 CRIMINAL CASES.
  • HE WAS DECLARED ‘PROCLAIMED OFFENDER’ IN TWO CASES.
  • ONE PISTOL, ONE COUNTRY MADE FIRE ARM AND SIX LIVE CARTRIDGES RECOVERED.
  • ONE HONDA AMAZE CAR ALSO RECOVERED.
INTRODUCTION:- Crime Branch has arrested three desperate criminals (1) Roshan Lal Gupta @ Khalla (31 yrs) s/o Mahesh Prasad R/o 3/13, 3rd Floor, Chhavi Apartments, Mahavir Enclave, Palam, Delhi along with his associates (2) Pradeep @ Sunda @ Rinku (33 yrs) s/o Karan Singh r/o Vill. Nand Garh, PS Julana, Jind, Haryana and (3) Rafiulla @ Salman (26) s/o Barkatulla r/o Vill. Badari, PS Utaruala, Ghonda, UP. One pistol, one country made weapon and six live cartridges have been recovered from their possession. Roshan Gupta @ Khalla was involved in more than 14 cases of attempt to murder, possession of illegal arms and criminal intimidation etc. He was also declared a “Proclaimed Offender” by Court in two cases.
TEAM AND OPERATION: - Crime Branch was having information from sources that one Roshan Gupta @ Khalla r/o Mahavir Enclave, Palam, Delhi was actively involved in various offences and after being declared a ‘Proclaimed Offender’ in two cases, he was regularly changing his hideouts. On the night of 26/08/16, a specific information was received by HC Bijender of South Western Range, Crime Branch that Roshan Gupta @ Khalla would come with his associates at Sector-9, Dwarka in a Honda Amaze car No DL9CU 7158. Immediately, a team led by ACP Sanjay Sehrawat, consisting of Inspr. P.C Khanduri, SIs Data Ram, Rajbir Singh, Arvind, ASI Yudhvir Singh, HCs Bijender, Dinesh Kumar, Virender, Satender, Hanuman, Ravinder, Anil, Cts Sandeep Dabas, Saurabh Saini and Parveen Kumar was constituted under the supervision of  DCP Bhisham Singh and under overall guidance of  Addl.CP K.K Vyas.  
Acting on the information, a trap was laid and one Honda Amaze car was intercepted near Sector-19, Dwarka, Delhi. When the police team asked the occupants of the car to surrender, they tried to escape and even whipped out and brandished firearms at the police party. However, all the three occupants were overpowered by the alert staff. From the search of Roshan Gupta @ Khalla, two live cartridges were recovered. From the search of Rinku @ Pradeep @ Sunda, one pistol with three live cartridges were recovered. One country made pistol alongwith one live cartridge was also recovered from the possession of Rafiulla @ Salman.
FIR under appropriate sections was registered and all the three persons were arrested.
PROFILE & INTERROGATION: -
  1. Roshan Lal Gupta @ Khalla was born in Village Gandharv Danga, Purnia, Bihar. His father came to Delhi 27 years ago in search of work.  He studied upto 11th standard from a private school in Janakpuri. Thereafter, he dropped his studies and started doing odd jobs. Thereafter, he fell in bad company and in 2007 he was arrested for the first time in a case of Arms Act. Later, he continued his illegal activities and was arrested in 13 cases of attempt to murder, Arms Act and criminal intimidation etc. He is a ‘BC’ of PS Tilak Nagar.
He is a very desperate criminal and in 2011, he alongwith his associates had fired upon a police constable at Kakrola More Picket, Dwarka area. The bullet had hit the constable in the shoulder. Roshan was declared a “Proclaimed Offender” in that case.
He takes protection money from the ‘Satta’ operators of West Delhi by threatening them. He always keeps armed PSO with him due to enmity with members of other gangs.

Sagar @ Punter a sharp shooter of Naveen Khati Gang arrested

Two sophisticated pistols alongwith 9 cartridges recovered. A reward of Rs 50,000/- was declared by Delhi Police for his arrest. A team of Special Cell, Northern Range, led by Insp. Sanjay Nagpal, Inspr. Prabhat Kumar & Insp. HE ALLEGEDELY OPERATED INSIDE THE JAIL CARRYING REWARD OF Rs. 20,000/- District Anti Robbery Cell, NWD has nabbed a desperate extortionist namely Harsimran @ Badal @ Simran s/o Harvinder Singh r/o BK-1/103-A, East Shalimar Bagh, Delhi, who is gang leader of Harsimran @ Badal Gang and carrying reward of Rs. 20000/-.
