NOTORIOUS ARMS SUPPLIER CARRYING A REWARD OF RS.50,000/- ARRESTED

A team of Special Cell, Lodhi Colony, New Delhi Range of Insp. Govind Sharma, Insp. Sanjay Gupta and Insp. Rajesh Kumar under the overall supervision of Addl. DCP Manishi Chandra has apprehended a manufacturer/supplier of illegal fire arms namely Gurubakhat Singh @ Foji, Age 30 yrs s/o Lal Singh, r/o VillSignure, PS Gogavan, DisttKhargaon, MP. The accused was declared as proclaimed offender on 22.03/2014 by the Hon’ble Court of Shri Sanjay Khanagwal, the then CMM, New Delhi. The accused was also having a Reward of Rs 50,000/- for his arrest.  
OPERATION
In past, several arms peddlers, supplying illegal arms in Delhi NCR and adjoining areas have been apprehended by Delhi Police to check the supply of Arms and Ammunition in Delhi NCR. A case Vide FIR No. 185/2013 U/S 25 Arms Act PS Crime Branch, Delhi was registered in which one accused ManojKumar Singh s/o Kishan Singh r/o Vill. Dhanipur, PS Gandhi Park, Aligarh, UP was arrested. From the possession of the accused 13 illegal weapons along with 24 rounds were recovered. In this case accused Gurubakhat Singh @ Foji, had reportedly supplied the illegal arms. He did not join the investigation and was declared as proclaimed offender. Subsequent efforts made to apprehend him went futile. The Commissioner of police vide order dated 15/06/2016, had declared a reward of Rs 50,000/-for his arrest. A team of Special Cell consisting of SI Krishan Kumar, ASI Rajkumar, HC Narender, Ct Anshu and Ct Manesh was formed to apprehend the said criminal.
APPREHENSION
 This team was stationed in Khargone, MP. On 18.09.2016, on receipt of specific information about the presence of accused near Ghughria Bus Stand, PS Gogavan, Distt. Khargone, MP, a raid was conducted and at about 12.30 AM and the accused was apprehended near Bus Stand, GhughariaGogavan. He will be produced in the court of Sh. Sumit Das, CMM, Patiala House, New Delhi.
PROFILE OF GURBAKHAT SINGH
Accused Gurubakhat Singh @ Foji, Age 30 yrs s/o Lal Singh, r/o VillSignure, PS Gogavan, DisttKhargaon, MP belongs to a poor family. Besides his wife, he has 4 daughters and 2 sons. He learnt manufacturing of illegal firearms from his father Lal Singh. He has been supplying illegal arms since year 2001. The accused was previously involved in 3 cases of illegal arms supply.

Two sophisticated pistols alongwith 9 cartridges recovered. A reward of Rs 50,000/- was declared by Delhi Police for his arrest. A team of Special Cell, Northern Range, led by Insp. Sanjay Nagpal, Inspr. Prabhat Kumar & Insp. Pankaj Kumar under the supervision of Shri Pankaj Sood, ACP has arrested sharp shooter of notorious and desperate gangster Naveen @ Khati namely  Sagar @ Punter, alongwith his associate Ravi @ Cheeru. Two pistols alongwith 9 cartridges were recovered from their possession.  A Bullet Motor-Cycle used by gangster has also been seized.
