PARAMOUR MURDERES BROTHER-IN-LAW OF HER LOVER

  • ACCUSED INSISTED FAMILY FOR DIVORCE.
  • THE ACCUSED IS A PREVIOUSLY CONVICT OF 7 YEARS AND WAS ALSO WANTED IN ANOTHER MURDER CASE
The staff of PS Jahangirpuri, North-West District has solved a case of gruesome murder of a man Seikh Sabid Ali by arresting two accused including main accused Slauddin (30) r/o Jahangir Puri, Delhi & apprehending one JCL.  
INCIDENT: On the evening of 30.08.16, a PCR call regarding quarrel at H2 block, Jahangirpuri was received at police station Jahangirpuri. Acting on the call police reached at the spot and found that the duo victims including one lady had already been moved to Babu Jagjivan Ram Hospital. On reaching Babu Jagjivan Ram Hospital, one of the victims, Seikh Sabid Ali (30) succumbed to a knife injury.  His sister was also found injured with knife. As such, a case vide FIR 489/16 u/s 302/324/34 IPC PS Jahangir Puri was registered.  
During enquiry it was found that the main accused  Salauddin had fled from the spot after committing murder. He had been recently released from jail after 7 years of imprisonment in a robbery case of 2009 and was also wanted in a recent murder case of 2016. Around 5-6 months back, accused Salauddin had fled with the wife of Sheikh Siraj, the younger brother of the victim Shaikh Sabid Ali. This accused was continuously pressing hard Shaikh Shiraj for giving divorce to his wife so that Slauddin can marry her. On the day of incident, accused Sallauddin along with his family members came in front of the jhuggi of the victim and they all were  insisting the victim’s family to produce Shiraj for  divorce.   Shiekh Shiraj was not found at home so the accused family started abusing the victim’s family.  The victim family raised objection & quarrel took place in which one of the brothers of accused held the victim and Salaudinn stabbed the victim. After committing the crime, all the members of accused family fled from the spot.
INFORMATION, THE TEAM AND OPERATION:-
Keeping in new the gravity of offence immediately a police team comprising Inspector Radhe Shyam, ASI Somdev,  Ram Chander, HC  Suresh, Ct. Parveen SHO/Jahangir Puri Inspr Naresh Chander under the supervision of ACP Sh. Prashant Gautam & overall supervision of Smt. Vijyanta Arya, Addl. DCP-I was constituted. The information was cultivated and on the secret information the accused was apprehended from Shah Alam Bandh Road.  At his instance bloodstained knife used in committing crime was also recovered.  Later,  his two  brothers  namely Yunus (aged 22 years) and JCL (17 years)  were also taken into custody Yunus was also arrested in the case. Accused Slaudin had come after undergoing 7 year jail in a robbery case of 2009. All  the accused persons have confessed their involvement in the murder.
The main accused Salauddin is also involved in a case of a daylight murder of one Ashok which took place in July, 2016 near Kushal Cinema, Jahangir Puri.  In that case also this accused along with his nephew,  stabbed the victim with knife. He is absconding since then.
INTERROGATIONs & MODUS-OPERANDI:-
During interrogation, the accused Salauddin confessed his involvement in both the murder cases. He was passionate and wanted to marry with the wife of Shiraj-the younger brother of deceased. They both were in love with each other and decided to flee. The accused had many times insisted the husband Shiraj for the divorce but he refused. In July 2016 after the murder of Ashok he absconded but surfaced now to settle score with Shiraj of his personal life.

Two sophisticated pistols alongwith 9 cartridges recovered. A reward of Rs 50,000/- was declared by Delhi Police for his arrest. A team of Special Cell, Northern Range, led by Insp. Sanjay Nagpal, Inspr. Prabhat Kumar & Insp.
