GANGSTER-CUM-EXTORTIONIST, ASSOCIATE OF INFAMOUS CRIMINAL MANOJ BAKKARWALA ARRESTED

• The accused is wanted in a case of extortion registered at P.S. Kanjhawla, Delhi.
• One motorcycle stolen from the area of P.S. North Rohini, Delhi recovered from his possession.
• He is an active B.C. of Police Station Mundka, Delhi.

The staff of AATS/ West District has arrested a Gangster cum extortionist criminal namely Krishan @ Sunda S/o Mahender Singh R/o H.No. 72, Village Bakkarwala, P.S. Mundka, Delhi. The accused has remained close associate of dreaded gangster, car-jacker criminal Manoj Bakkarwala. He is B.C. of Police Station Mundka and found previously involved in 6 criminals cases. Now a days the accused is active in extortion and a by name FIR is registered in this regard against him in P.S. Kanjhawla, Outer Distt., Delhi, in which he is wanted as on date. One Hero Honda Passion motorcycle stolen from the area of P.S. North Rohini, Delhi has been recovered from his possession.

INFORMATION/ OPERATION: -

On 06/09/2016, information was received that a gangster cum extortionist namely Krishan @ Sunda, a resident of Bakkarwala, Delhi, who has remained close aide of dreaded criminal Manoj Bakkarwala, is presently involved in extortion. He is wanted in an extortion case of Police Station Kanjhawla, Delhi and absconding to evade his arrest. He is using a stolen Hero Honda Passion Pro motorcycle and randomly visits his home in night. The information was shared with Inspector Raj Pal Dabas, I/C AATS/ West, who shared and discussed the same with senior officers and after discussion, a team comprising of SI Brahm Dev, ASI Dilbag Singh, HC Ajay Kumar, HC Manjeet Singh, Ct. Amit Kumar and Ct. Hari Prakash was constituted to act promptly. The team, so constituted  working under the leadership of Sh. Raj Pal Dabas, Inspector/ AATS/ West and overall supervision of Sh. Dinesh Tiwari, ACP/ Operations/ West District conducted a raid at his address in village Bakkarwala, Delhi in early morning. However, he was not found present at his home.

 

The same evening, again an information was received that Krishan @ Sunda would come to Nangloi-Najafgarh road beside Ganda Nala near Ranhola village, Delhi to meet someone. Accordingly, a trap was laid at the Nangloi-Najafgarh road beside Ganda Nala near Ranhola village. At about 6 PM, a person came on a Red Passion Pro motorcycle from Bakkarwala village side via Ganda Nala road. On point of informer, the team swiftly swung into action and apprehended that person. His name came to know as Krishan @ Sunda S/o Mahender Singh R/o H.No. 72, Village Bakkarwala, P.S. Mundka, Delhi. He was asked to produce the documents of the motorcycle, but could not produce the same and tried to mislead the team by presenting wrong facts. On enquiry it revealed that the motorcycle is stolen vide e-FIR No. 15202/16, dated 22/05/2016, e-Police Station – M.V. theft Crime Branch (P.S. North Rohini), Delhi. Accordingly, the accused was immediately arrested U/S 41.1 (d) of Cr.P.C. and the recovered motorcycle taken into police possession.

DISCLOSURE & MODUS OPERANDI: -

After arrest, the accused was subjected to sustain and thorough interrogation. During interrogation, he disclosed that he was an active member of Manoj Bakkarwala gang and has remained actively involved in criminal activities in past. He is childhood friend of Manoj Bakkarwala. After arrest of Manoj Bakkarwala, he started extortion in his name to make money. He also gets directions from his master Manoj Bakkarwala from jail. He has also roped in some local boys to reorganize the gang. He had recently made an extortion call to a person of village Ghevra, Delhi and a case vide FIR No. 330/16, dt. 24/08/2016, U/S 387/506 IPC, P.S. Kanjhawla, Delhi is registered against him. However, he could not be arrested in that case and was living secretly at random places. His detailed profile is as under: -

Accused krishann @ Sunda S/o Mahender Singh was born in 1983 at his native place village Bakkarwala, P.S. Mundka Delhi. He studied up to 9th class from his village. After study he started working as milkman and used to sell the milk in the areas of Nangloi, Delhi. However, he was not earning enough to meet his requirements. He came into contact of his childhood friend Manoj Bakkarwala, a dreaded gangster, car-jacker and robber. The accused was lured by the lifestyle of Manoj Bakkarwala and easily joined his gang. He has robbed many vehicles with Manoj Bakkarwala. He acquired enough money while associating with Manoj Bakkarwala. After arrest of Manoj Bakkarwala, in 2015 he organized another gang including women and started trapping affluent peoples in Honey trap.  In one of such case, the gang trapped a person namely Anil Rana, a resident of Ghevra, Delhi and extorted about one crore rupees from him. Later the members of his gang were arrested in Haryana and the accused was also arrested vide FIR No. 394/15, U/S 384/389/120B IPC, P.S. City Bahadurgarh, Haryana. He recently made a threatening call to the complainant of case FIR No. 394/15, P.S. City Bahadurgarh, Haryana and demanded money from him. A case vide FIR No. 330/16, dt. 24/08/2016, U/S 387/506 IPC is registered at P.S. Kanjhawla, Delhi in this regard and he is wanted in that case.
